Nice cozy cottage surrounded by greenery and a pond. Cottage was comfortable and well equipped. Note that the. Stairs to the bedroom are steep with an odd top landing so might not be appropriate for all . Good if you are sightseeing in the area.

We thought this property was really cute. We loved the look of it and were really comfortable here. Rogier was very easy to communicate with and was very friendly, even coming over to say bye when we left. We had a great time in the area, mostly doing a bunch of walking on the amazing trails they have here. The only issue was that they didn't have a washing machine or oven, like the listing says it does. We didn't care about the oven, but we were really counting on being able to wash our clothes during our stay.

We would certainly recommend this cottage to our friends, and have already done so. We arrived late after a rainy journey and were greeted by our delightful hosts Roger and Yolanda, who had provided beers, juice and all the makings of coffees and teas. The little house is the nicest we have stayed in anywhere in Europe. Beautifully decorated and furnished, comfy and cosy. The shower room is clean spacious and everything works well, and has lots of storage space and plenty of towels. The kitchen was well equipped, and Yolanda had sent us an inventory so we could see if we needed to bring extra bits from home, but nothing extra was needed. The only down side was lack of an oven, but there was a microwave/grill oven, with instructions, but I couldn't be bothered to work it out. As the local butcher was so good we got plenty of nice meat that could be cooked without the oven! The gardens are lovely, with good privacy, but still with great views over the surrounding countryside. Yolanda very helpfully gave us guidance to an easy place to park in Amsterdam, and told us about the wonderful butcher in the nearest village. They brought us apples, stopped by for a chat and glass of wine, and were truly excellent in every way. We visited Arnhem, Amsterdam, the Kroller Muller museum and free bicycles around the Hoge Veluwe National Park, went to the Aviodrome aircraft museum and visited lots of lovely old villages. The local windmill owner gave us a great guided tour too. You can very easily get to a huge range of places using the motorway network, but sat nav or a decent map would help, as there are so many motorways! Altogether this is a great place for a peaceful holiday for couples of any age.

It was just great. Two perfect weeks. One of the best accommodation I ever had. Of cause it depends on what you are looking for and I expected a quiet countryside stay with all necessary comfort - and I got it. Harald Knlll
