Joseph Cottage: Mountain Views + Fireplace + Firepit

their was no air conditioning as advertised temps were in the 80's. I needed a dryer, and I couldn't get it to work. I wanted to Bbq some steaks, the dirtiest, funky unit I have ever seen!! The kitchen table has leaves that should extend...but they were inoperable, we had 2ft. x 3ft. of table space to use!! After this Vrbo experience I cancelled 2 other reservations with Vrbo.

This house was perfectly equipped, spotlessly clean, and comfortable beds. Great for a weekend in Joseph and you can walk anywhere in town. Great place to stay!

It needs to have central air and access to local TV

Property was perfect for us.It was so clean and quiet, so much thought was put into it by the hosts. It had everything we needed including a huge fenced in yard that was clean and large. Close to downtown Joseph that we could walk to get some great food and shopping.Contact with the hosts was immediate and helpful! We will definitely be going back!

The house was very clean and comfortable. Location was great for a walk to town to shop or eat out. We ate at Embers and highly recommend it! Thanks for a great stay!

Very clean, comfortable beds! Easy access/check-in. I appreciate that they accept dogs, however, there was a surprise dog fee after I paíd, sent via a message from the owner. I wish that fee was initially disclosed. Good overall value. Super cute house, very large back yard.

The cottage was comfortable and close enough to walk anywhere in town. We surprised about 10 deer in the back yard upon arrival, including a couple bucks. The Mountain views are great. Joseph is full of nice people and welcoming businesses, and the region is truly spectacular. Everything was just as the host described.

Cozy cottage with charm! It is definitely a wonderful place to stay with a dog. The back yard is completely fenced in. The location to downtown was perfect and we love the area!

Very clean, well kept happy house. Very dog friendly. Fenced backyard with lovely well kept lawn. Clean up after Fido so it stays this way! Well stocked and two block walk to town with top shelf views of the Eagle Cap Wilderness and 5-minute drive to Wallowa Lake. A true gem.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend of snowmobiling. The host had a wonderful information book with everything we could think to ask about. The house was just as described, the bed extremely comfortable. Plenty of room to relax in this cozy cottage. Absolutely would stay there again.

Cottage is just as advertised… quiet neighborhood close to everything. I was in town for the Sled Dog Race and it was very convenient being close to everything. Very comfortable beds! Hope to be back next year!

My husband and I traveled to Joseph with our dog. The house had everything we needed. The yard was perfect for our dog and the neighborhood was fun to explore. The kitchen was very well stocked and the living room was very comfortable. The gas stove warmed the place completely. The bedroom was great with lots of storage for our things. We can’t wait to return in the summer and enjoy the deck.

The perfect spot for a long weekend. We enjoyed the fireplace, the first snow of the season, and the view of the mountains. It was a short walk into town. Very convenient. Also loved the fenced yard for the dog. We will be back!

My dog Sherpa and I hiked, relaxed, and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely comfortable cottage in Joseph. Gorgeous views, a huge fenced yard, and all the amenities, including a bathtub for soaking weary limbs after epic hikes into rugged wilderness. An adventurers paradise, especially for dog lovers. We’ll be back!

The location of this house is very convenient to downtown area, we frequently walked to eateries and it had a nice deck that looked out over the mountains. This is a very small home. The bedrooms and bathroom are very tight. With 4 adults staying there, there is minimal space for toiletries, hanging wet towels and maneuvering around the room safely. The TV is older and only connects to Amazon Prime and Netflix. No local TV or weather available. We were even able to sign on to our own streaming services such as YouTube. For the cost of renting this property, we did not get anything near what I expected.
