Our Cottage is located in West Iceland with a view over Lake Eiðisvatn, the Hvalfjörður fjord and the spectacular mountains around the fjord.
It's behind the small village of Melahverfi, which is signposted on the ring road and around 15 minutes away from Akranes.
In autumn and winter, this is also a good place to watch the Northern Lights.

Stayed Aug 26, 2024This home is spacious and clean with a fantastic view. The open concept living room with windows all across the front is a perfect place for family to relax after a long day of exploring. The kitchen is large and fully equipped to prepare any meal. I would highly recommend this property for a family of 4 or 5 people.

Stayed Mar 28, 2024We only had a short stay, but the host was just fabulous! Very clean and well cared for, spacious enough for a family of 5. The cottage was so charming, we wished we had longer to stay. When we have to opportunity to return to Iceland, we will try and stay here again.
