The space
This 2-story cottage features unforgettable and amazing mountain views, from inside or out! Our place is very private set back in the hills on a private road so the only thing you will hear out here is the wildlife. Very great location for people who want to be close to town but yet a world away in a amazing setting. The place stays cool in the summer as its nestled under shady trees. Access to fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven and all dishes you may need.A fully stocked, ready to cook in, kitchen, with full size stovetop oven, a microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, crockpot and all the pots, pans and dishes you should need! All the linens are provided throughout the home. There are also paper products to get you started (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, napkins, coffee filters) There is hand soap in the bathrooms and the kitchen has some basics like salt and pepper, some basic spices, aluminum foil and I provide some local roasted, organic, fair trade coffee. YUM! Just bring your own food/drinks and you're good to go!! Come kick back/relax and breathe in all the mountains have to offer. Refresh your mind, body and spirit and create memories that will last a lifetime!.
The house was not worth the money we paid. The toilet was clogged when we came. The internet did not work. It was not clean in any way. The heat did not reach the bedrooms, the bedrooms were always cold. The good thing was that they came out the same night we called them about the toilet. The house is in nature with good scenery though.
Enjoyed hiking and visiting Gettysburg. Cottage requires better kitchen supplies and overall updating.
A solid okay
We had wonderful time ...
First we went there twice and the place looked like it had been vacant for years. There was no car, the place was locked and we knocked on the front door. This place looks nothing like the picture and appeared unkempt. We felt taken advantage of. I do have pictures. I am happy to speak to a senior person-only.
We hung out and played games and cooked and enjoyed the outdoors together with a very welcoming host for our stay
