Gray Gables - Central Victorian with Romantic Flair

This was our second time staying here. My family loves the historic charm, modern amenities, and convenient location. The host communicates important details in advance and has clear instructions in a binder at the house. Our family was comfortable, and everyone felt like they had space to relax. The bonus was that there was a nice park with a playground within walking distance.

Gray Gables was wonderful and exactly as advertised. The host shared helpful information and was easy to communicate with from the booking process til check out. We were welcomed with delicious local chocolate toffees and a house book with local recommendations (many within walking distance) and all information needed on the home. The neighborhood was charming and easy to get to. The home was clean, comfortable, and inviting. The AC kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The fenced backyard was perfect for my dog. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

This place was amazing. Value for price is high. We didn't use the kitchen, but the refrigerator worked. Water was hot for showers. Mud room to store bikes. There was a small inaccuracy with the listing, but appears to have been fixed. Walkable to downtown. Highly recommend the Bagel on Main, and Kiln Coffee.

House had everything we needed for our visit. Owners were very responsive to issue that occurred with front door lock. Would stay again!

Really loved the Victorian, super close to food and quaint down town

This home was very comfortable and welcoming. This was the best stocked kitchen I have ever had. Refridgerator was huge. All the utensils I would need for food prep and cooking were available, including a crock pot. Shower was great, I wanted to just stand and let the water massage me. Hosts were always quick to respond to any questions I had. Great hosts and property!

House was a mixture of old house charm and nicely updated. Very clean. Nicely decorated. Comfortable beds and furniture. Nice bathroom. Dog friendly and kid friendly. Wonderful back yard seating area with picnic table. Great location. 3 walkable blocks from downtown. We gave it 4 star because it is an old house and not in pristine new build condition: creaky wooden floors, old windows and house has been well loved. We would stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at Gray Gables. The house had so much charm and was very comfortable. It’s located a couple blocks from adorable Main Street Grand Junction and a short drive from the vineyards in Palisades.

We loved this house. It has such a nice old school feel to it. It had everything we needed and tons of great suggestions for local food. We loved this house and would stay here again in a second.

Good. Some things need attention: the oven needed cleaning and the connection to Netflix was unreliable. When we used the oven the CO2 monitor went off unnecessarily. We could not open the drapes for light because it defeated the A/C. Some attention to these annoying details would make staying here in the future much more enjoyable. Otherwise the neighborhood and location are excellent. Communication and service with the host were easy. Grand Junction has much to offer and Gray Gables is a worthwhile alternative to consider.

This is a cozy older home within walking distance of downtown Grand Junction. Great location! The owners were very responsive to our concerns. We would stay there again!

Wonderful place to stay to visit our family in Grand Junction. The yard was perfect for our dogs. Comfortable seating and beds. Although we don’t have little kids anymore, I noticed thoughtful touches that would make it easier for families to feel at home. Excellent communication with our hosts.

We had a wonderful stay this weekend. The host Tara was very communicative, helpful and accommodating. Our stay made the whole trip. Our pup loved the yard and my teenager loved having her own room. This spot has all the amenities and a super short walk to Main Street.

It was a treat to get to stay in the quaint older home. The house was older but well kept, very clean, lots of room. It provided our every need. Convenient to Restaurants.

Beautiful property, very spacious, very stocked with everything you might need on vacation. Property was clean and only thing we need to provide was our food (basic items seasonings & coffee was even provided). Host very responsive to text messages promptly. Very children & Pet friendly (with items provided Toys as well). Highly recommend & will book again.

First time visiting Grand Junction and this was the perfect place to stay, close enough to downtown to walk and far enough away for peace and quiet. Loved the charm of the original features of the house as well. Have to mention the master bed was very comfortable and we slept so well after long days hiking.

This home is very nice. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood which made our stay so relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning. There is nothing lacking in this home.
