Ginnys Cozy Beach Cottage

All was great

The house was very clean. Great location for walking to the beach. Short drive for wonderful shopping. Screened front porch was great for us and the dogs. Nice neighborhood for walking. Great place and great time. Hope to return. Molly was close by if we needed anything.

Stayed 10 nights with my husband and our fur babies. As always, this place is perfect. Most everything you need is already there but if not it’s located right in the middle of shopping so no problem! We’ve stayed in Destin for about 20 years at multiple different places and THIS is our favorite. It’s home away from home for us. Plenty of room in the cottage with the cutest decor and comfy beds. 5 min walk to the beach is a selling point too!

This was our second time staying here. Cottage was clean upon arrival, I appreciated the outdoor shower. The short walk to beach access is always nice. Street is quiet and house is conveniently located near shopping malls and grocery stores. We hadn’t been here in a few years and I was shocked there wasn’t a dishwasher in the house. My family enjoys home cooked dinners so it was a bit annoying to hand wash lots of dishes every evening. The beds were very uncomfortable and the last two nights I opted to sleep on the couch. The air conditioner in the back of the house kept turning off so my kids would wake up hot throughout the night. Overall I like the place but would definitely recommend some changes to make it better. Lastly, my kid stepped on something sharp on the beach and cut her foot open we didn’t find anything at the house to clean and bandage it so I’d recommend keeping a first aid in the home.

Great location enjoyed our stay

This old and simple cottage is just 3 minutes from a beautiful beach. Good value for the price and a great stay overall, except for a couple issues. The cleaning was inadequate and even the dinner chairs had a layer of dust, and the floor was dirty under the furniture. Also the manager tried to collect 150 cash for our third person, while the required online payment was 75. Alexander

this is what i think of when i think of vintage beach cottage. it was very clean, very nice area, short walk to beach. the layout was a little odd but still very doable. all the necessary amenities were provided. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay

All that was described in the listing plus extra things you might need if you forgot. Neighbor house had two tables and all the chairs in the back yard I just wondered if some were for this house. A full length mirror would also be suggestion. Just wish those things would have been there. But we had nothing bad to say. Enjoyed our stay.
