Jean and Marty were very kind and hospitable. Theydidn't bother us at all except when asking me if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay. The lake was beautiful and centrally located from many attractions. We loved the swimming and kayaking.

The wooded setback location of this cottage across the road from the lake provides a nice quiet escape from the lake and road noise. Cottage is old but has been upgraded with nice cupboards, sink, refrigerator and other details. The screen porch and older classic furnishings are very comfortable and well maintained. Ver comfortable for 2-3 adults or a larger family with small children Jean and Marty are great hosts, available when you need them but otherwise give you personal privacy even though the cottage is beside their home.

The cabin was perfectly located. We loved the lake and the dock...our kids were in the water constantly. The cabin was a good size with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living room with tv and wifi, and screened porch. The kids loved the bunk bed! Jean and Marty were great hosts, and we didn't want to leave. We will definitely plan a repeat trip to this location!

The weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy a beautiful week of swimming, sunning and fishing at the lake. Relaxing to the point that I read one and half books!

After a day of sightseeing or just relaxing at the lake, this cottage was the perfect place to come home to. It had everything we needed and Jean and Marty are gracious, knowledgeable hosts willing to help in any way they can. We highly recommend staying here.

Small but neat and very well stocked cabin with nice amenities. The lake has excellent fishing and having a kayak to paddle was really nice.

Jean and Marty are very nice people who go out of there way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay while visiting. Jean went out of her way to find me a rowboat that she borrowed from a friend so that I could fish using my trolling motor which made my stay much better. They gave my son a bike to use and even offered to take us for a boat ride on their personal boat. The cottage itself was very clean and had all the essentials. The only disappointment for us was the location of the cottage. I guess I didn’t look at the photos thoroughly enough in the listing but we thought the cottage was right on the water not across the street. We also didn’t realize we would be in the side/back yard of Marty and Jean’s house which kind of made it less private for us. The listing is a little deceiving which I’m sure is not intentional, maybe it should be made a little clearer where the location of the cottage actually is. Overall we had a great time and as I said Marty and Jean are really great hosts!
