Gated Lakefront Getaway, Hot Tub, Private Dock & Stunning Smith Mountain View’s

The Treehouse was a beautiful home with spectacular lake views. This was our first SML visit and the stores and grocery are about 15 minutes away. Bedford is about 30 minutes away and we enjoyed the D Day monument tour there as well. We went to Moneta several times to eat and enjoyed the restaurants there. The home had all the kitchen basics and the beds were very comfortable. The lay out of the house did have us going up and down the stairs quite a bit which was fine for our group of 4 middle aged adults but if you have mobility issues it may not be the best fit. We enjoyed our stay and the dock was especially nice to sit and relax and watch the boats go by. We also saw lots of wildlife such as deer, a mink and variety of birds. Easy check in and out process and good host communication.

Everything was stunning and extremely clean and easy to use. Dock/ kayaks/ and hot tub were all well prepared and in great condition.

Great Location on the lake, very nice property and amenities (we loved the 3 kayaks and hot tub, these were used daily!) would definitely come back!

There were 7 of us and we had a lovely time. Catching up and enjoying the dock and relaxing on our tubes! The kitchen was a great gathering place while we prepared our meals.

We had a wonderful stay The property and house were beautiful. The atmosphere was relaxing and it was easy to communicate any questions we had. We were in the area for my daughter’s graduation and it was perfect. Thank you for the great memory.

This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your family. The house is beautiful and has all the things you need for a lake getaway. The kitchen is stocked, there wasn't anything we needed. The hosts were so responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this home for your next vacation. We will be returning..

We had an amazing week at SML! The house is set up for each window to have an amazing view of the lake. The location is perfect, and the dock is perfect for sitting, fishing, swimming, and boating. We can't wait to come back!

We loved our stay at the Tree House. All of the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room. Having the dock right there made mornings wonderful for kayaking and fishing. All of us enjoyed swimming from the dock and catching the ice cream boat.

The house was absolutely beautiful and cozy! Plenty of room to spread out. The view was gorgeous from all levels of the house. Deer grazing in the yard every morning. Loved being out in the country but a short drive from restaurants and the grocery store. Plenty of amenities!

Our whole family loved it! Our only disappointment was due to broken kayaks from previous vacationers. Out host was gracious and offered to reimburse us on a kayak rental, however due to our short stay we did t want the hassle of going through that process. Please be nice with the owner's property so that other vacationers can enjoy it. Overall we had a great time and really liked the property (although please note that there are a lot of stairs to go up and down). Hosts were great on communication.
