Galloway Cottage- Bikes and fire pit

Really private and pet friendly we love it.

The cottage was exactly as described. Perfect for a week getaway. Enjoyed the balance of privacy while being in the city. Price was affordable. My dog made herself right at home, always a good sign. Would come back.

What a wonderful place! I loved my time there. What a great place to chill. Such a cozy little place. Much better and cheaper than a hotel. Awesome! I’ll be back when I come to Springfield. Thank you, thank you!!!!

Clean, quaint and rustic. We called it our cabin for the weekend. A little tricky to find at night, but directions were given well and we had no problem getting there. All necessities were provided and appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioners kept the rooms at desired temps. The outdoor seating on the patio was a welcomed plus. We have two small dogs, (which were welcomed with doggy clean up bags) so having a yard for them was also a bonus! We were unsure of how to lock the door when leaving so I called Johnny and got an immediate response with friendly directions. Very nice stay for the weekend!

It was perfect for my needs as a single guest, convenient to the amenities I wanted.

The property was welcoming to our family and a our pet. Pretty easy access to many different things restaurants, coffee, trails, and so much more.

This adorable tucked away cottage was perfect for my 2 night Springfield stay. The kitchen had everything I needed to make meals, the living room was comfortable with lamps for evening reading. Upstairs bedroom was roomy and the bed comfortable. There are many thoughtful touches - lighting in convenient spots, handy spaces to put personal things, assorted coffees. And I loved sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds. Overall a delightful place to stay. I’d definitely stay again!

This property was perfect for my visit. I brought my own bike but was excited to see others there in case I want to invite someone to ride with me in the future. It is peaceful and had all of the amenities I needed for my stay.

This is the second time my boyfriend and I have stayed here and loved it even more! It’s quiet, cozy, and secluded. We walked to the Galloway Grill this time around, and fell in love. They have the best chili cheese nachos (you need to try)!!! We also went to the aquarium of course, and the big bass pro. Our favorites. We also recommend Gaileys! Join the waitlist beforehand, thank me later. It sadly rained most of the weekend but we made the most out of it. Definitely a hidden gem!

Even before we arrived the host(s) were very welcoming and inviting. We had a last minute special request and they accommodated. Upon arrival the space for the cottage was hidden and cozy. When we walked into the cottage it was instant cute, cozy, clean and inviting. The host had complimentary snacks, a chilled glass in the freezer for tasty beverages and ICE, which is huge for me because I love my water but cannot drink it w/o ice. So that was a big winner. Awesome space upstairs and downstairs. It was centrally located so it was perfect AND secluded. Great space for my doggos inside and outside. The host was in touch making sure everything was good. I will definitely stay again as I didn’t get the luxury of booking and sitting at the fire pit.

This cozy cottage was exactly what I needed for my short stay in Springfield. The cottage is quite spacious, comfortable, and quiet. It was fairly rainy during my stay so I didn't get to use the bikes or fire pit, but it was nice to have them available! I highly recommend this place.

Very cute and clean place! Had very large shaded yard! Close to restaurants and Walmart! The hosts were very easy to communicate with and easy to get a hold of and very accommodating!

We just wanted to get away for a couple days. What a find! Cute little getaway cabin. Close to all the attractions Springfield has to offer. If you want to relax outside…perfect little covered porch. Want to stay indoors…high speed internet, 2 smart tvs. What more could you ask for? And priced about the same as a hotel. For us it’s a no brainer.

It was perfect for MSU Family weekend. My student got away for them dorm and had a awesome place to change with friends and mom.

Easy check in and check out. The space was perfect for my wife and i. We really enjoyed staying at the galloway cottage and look forward to visiting again!

Travelled to MO to fish Table Rock and visit Bass Pro. This property was quaint and a perfect location with its proximity to HWY 65. I enjoyed the hammock and outdoor seating immensely.

Wonderfully accommodated. Very cozy and cute home layout. Perfect for a weekend away. Hosts were very communicative and helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Hosts thought of everything and provided snacks, coffee, bug spray, essential oils, and more to use to make our stay even more comfortable.

Loved the property, the area, and the hosts. We had a fabulous time exploring - many beautiful trails for hiking and sightseeing!!

The Galloway cottage was perfect for our needs. It is small and the ceiling is definitely low, but it is conveniently located and a great value. The cottage was clean and efficient, and the hosts were helpful and available!

We wanted to get away for a couple of days and still have some space and freedom. This location was far enough from the city to feel like it was on the edge of the country, but still close enough to get anywhere in Springfield without too much hassle. The hammock was great, and everything was nice. This is not a 5 star luxury hotel, but it is very nice and I would go back.

It was a great little cabin.

Very disappointing… lots of bugs inside and out! Lawn overgrown and could not take advantage of the fire pit. Cottage was dusty and a rancid smell to it. My husband coughed all night from the amount of dust in the air from the air units

A quaint old-fashioned pretty cottage with every modern convenience. And we were surprised to find ourselves in a secluded lot on the edge of the woods, not far from walking trails. We expect to stay there again next time we are in the Springfield area.

We love your little cottage. The location was perfect-easy walking distance to a couple of good restaurants and easy drive to freeways. The upstairs bed was very comfortable. The sofa couch adequate. We enjoyed the covered front patio and the birds.

This cute cottage is truly a hidden gem. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood within walking distance of great local restaurants. We’ddefinitely stay again! Thanks to our excellent hosts!

Very nice tiny house. I'm glad I wasn't taller. The exposed joists are a little low but if you're under 6'4 you will be fine. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location was perfect for where our event was held. Definitely would recommend this for a nice relaxing stay in Springfield.

Very cute and gives that cottage feel without needing to be in the middle of nowhere. The property was super clean and neighborhood was very quiet.

Me and my sister came out to Springfield from Muskogee to see Bucees, and this was the coziest place ever! The owners were super helpful and friendly!

We recently spent two nights at this charming cottage, and it was a wonderful experience. The cozy atmosphere and all of the amenities made us feel right at home. We loved the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, with the city just a short distance away for exploring. Every moment felt special, from relaxing on the porch to family games inside. I highly recommend this lovely retreat for a memorable getaway!

Convenient yet tucked away cabin.Wonderfully well appointed accommodations that welcomed me back from visits to family in medical care facilities nearby.Clean, quiet (inside, a bit of traffic noise outside) and a delight to experience.

Place is very cute and clean! The people that run is have great communication and really cear that you enjoy your trip and your stay! Love that my fur baby was also welcome!

Property is great for a little getaway. Location is great and they have games and nice piece of property to enjoy during nice weather. Inside however has terrible lighting. Literally no lights in the kitchen over the counter to be able to see if you’re trying to cook. The ceilings are low so the string lights that end near the fridge don’t provide any light for actually cooking or prepping at all. Hot and cold water in the vanity is reversed, which I’ve found to be done by cheap properties to try and save money. I find that annoying and dishonest as humans are creatures of habits. Couple electrical safety issues that need addressed asap, upstairs to the left of the bed there’s a switch for a sconce light near the closet. That switch has exposed wire surface mounted to the wall and just painted as if that’ll hide the huge safety issue of exposed wires running along drywall/panelling. They wire has to be pinched to get behind the cover plate and into the actual box. Other issue is exposed romex surface mounted on the drywall/panelling for a heater upstairs. Both issues are huge safety concerns and if I had kids staying at the property I’d be very upset

The cottage was great. We had some issues with finding it initially with our gps. It was dark and kept bringing us on the street behind the cottage and we couldn’t see it. My main problem was that I arrived quite sick and the main floor couch bed wasn’t comfortable. It would have been ok.if I wouldn’t have been so sick and 74 years old!!🙄

This was my second time staying at Galloway Cottage. It’s comfy, secluded, and has all the things I need for a stay. Highly recommend and will be back

This cottage worked nicely for the 2 of us for our time in Springfield for a wedding. It is well equipped, clean and comfortable.

We loved the cabin and location. It was like being in the country with all the city amenities close by. We had deer in yhe yard and took advantage everyday of the park and walking trails. Tank you for the Andy's hift card!
