Bryant Pond, Maine
It snows a lot here! Located on North Pond in Bryant Pond where the ski resorts are right at your fingertips.
Sunday River Ski Resort, in the town of Bethel, is 15 minutes away. Mt Abram, a lower cost family mountain, is 5 minutes. Hiking trails and snowshoeing are right out the door. Snowmobile trails are right there too. There’s a large driveway to handle several cars.
Our place is truly a camp, not a luxury hotel. This four-season rustic style camp is located right on North Pond with picture perfect views. The place is efficiently warm for those colder months using oil heat. Plus, there’s a small fireplace to take the edge off winter.
Overall, our guests love the coziness of the camp, the views and the location.
Inside, the camp has welcoming views of the pond and mountains. The main floor features a full kitchen with an island and chairs plus a nice sitting area central to the place. The living room has a fireplace.
The place is small and it can be a tight fit for the top end capacity of 8. But our previous parties of 8 still loved the place. Upstairs has 1 large community type bedroom including 1 queen plus 3 twin beds that will sleep 5.
In the basement, which is unfinished, are 2 bunk beds that sleep 4. There's also a futon and couch. It's perfect for kids or teens to have their own space. Access to the basement is through a trap door and sturdy custom-built ladder that is also blocked with a gate for added safety.
We do have the internet with Wi-Fi. We DO NOT have cable TV. The TV does have an HDMI connection though. Our guests stream videos from their device to the TV. Bring your Fire TV Stick! There's also a DVD and VCR player with plenty of videos. Plus, there's a host of classic board games like Scrabble and Yahtzee. Enjoy!

We had a great time at the cabin. We love the lake access and swimming and fishing. It was plenty big enough for our family of 3 plus 1 pet. We would certainly rent again.
Great location, right on the lake. Very convenient for our ice fishing/ski vacation. The camp is very comfortable and cozy.
The cabin is adorable with panoramic views of the lake. I especially loved the loft where there are three comfortable beds under the eaves and more great views of the lake. We got a nice fire going in the fireplace one night and played cards with the kids. It was super easy to get to and from Sunday River and we had no trouble finding the place. Would definitely book again! Kenny was great!
Our family of four plus golden retriever had a wonderful week. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the bald eagle family on the island in front of the cabin!
The view was great. We enjoyed watching the eagles. The bathroom and shower were tiny. We missed a dining room table to eat and gather around. Half the basement was open storage. The value for the money charged simple wasn't there.
We had a blast staying at the cabin. It had everything we needed and Kenny was responsive to any questions we had.
This is an awesome property, a great place to relax and unplug! It's not luxurious (it's a camp), but there is a very nice private yard and dock. The lakefront is great for swimming; sandy bottom and shallow, crystal clear water (maybe 3ft deep at the end of the dock). Various kayaks and a canoe were available for our use. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, doing a bit of fishing (not catching, unfortunately), and watching the bald eagles nesting on one of the nearby islands. We didn't use it, but there's a nice little firepit area on a hill between the house and the road... maybe next time!
Loved it
We absolutely loved the camp! We look forward to coming back next year hopefully!
Very pleasant stay.
