Cozy cabin for a quiet stay. The private dock is wonderful.

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin had everything we needed and was comfy and cozy! The communication between us and the property owner was great. We would stay here again!

I dont think ive ever went on vacation and come back so relaxed! The cabin was perfect! Quiet, only a few minutes from all the touristy things, and so clean and inviting!!! Id love to someday come back and rent every cabin in this area for a big family reunion. Thank you so much!!

Linda and Gil reign supreme in the VRBO realm. This was our first family vacation and we brought our dog along with. Unbeknownst to us when we got there I noticed a food and water bowl out. The cottage had everything we would need for the stay. Only thing we had to do was buy our own food. They said you'll see the dolphins come up and feed at dawn and dusk. One of the most magical experiences in life happened when after several days of seeing them the mom and baby came all the way up to where me and my wife saw there smiles and made eye contact with those beautiful creatures. They were within 3 ft of the dock. I'm incredibly conflicted. Honestly this place was so magical I want to keep it a secret like buried treasure but want everyone to experience the beauty of nature. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach (The Wharf) are 20 min away. Only beach thats dog friendly is Fort Morgan though.

Everything was great!! Clean, convenient and the boat slip made everthing much easier for me!! I'll be back in June.

My wife, son and I enjoyed a most comfortable, peaceful and relaxing weekend here at this cozy cottage. The home itself carries the cool charm and character of a well maintained older home. Very neat and clean and decor just right for a fishing cottage. House was supplied well for living and we cooked every meal there. As many top notch restaurants as there are in the Bon Secour/Foley/ Gulf Shores area, we just didn’t want to leave. The grounds and surrounding cottages were very neat and orderly. Met one resident and two other vacationers and all very nice and friendly, even the pets were friendly. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and out on the pier. I even enjoyed a few walks up and down the road which has little traffic. It was just a pleasant hustle and bustle free chill zone :). It was perfect for us and what we were looking for and just right for our budget, and a place we look forward to visiting again. Thank you

What a lovely vacation! If you love the simple old Florida life you will love this place. The cottage is so warm and comfortable with a screened porch perfect for morning coffee. We spent most of our time on the dock fishing, crabbing and bird and dolphin watching. Thank you so much for having us!

Clean cozy and very comfortable. Will recommend this to anyone that wish to have a quiet stay off the beaten path. The fresh sea food within walking distance a definite plus.

Nice cozy home, decorated so nicely in fishing motif, loved sitting in the screened in porch every morning. We had fun fishing on the big beautiful dock and watching the dolphins.

Linda and Gill always have a clean space and the area is completely quiet. Love my stays here!

Great little fish camp like setting. Clean and cozy. Everything was as expected and the new dock is great for a quiet happy hour. Will definitely go back.

The property offered a peaceful place to relax for the weekend. The private dock was excellent for relaxing, fishing an crabbing.

We had a great time doing nothing. Sweet little cottage with plenty of amenities. Lots of restaurants near by, Friendly neighbors. The cottage was great it just needs to upgrade their beds, they were old and very springy. We love the Bon secure location. We would stay there again.

The property is nostalgic and provided all we needed for a comfortable stay.

The place was exactly how it was explained, a fishing camp the boat slip, and dock facilities were excellent. The house was just as explained it was. We didn’t spend much time in the house because we were on our boat pretty much the whole weekend, but I will say while we were at the house the neighbor to the right of the house was a major Karen. She was all in our business telling us what we needed to do.

It was perfect for what we were looking for. Fishing, close to the beach but out of crowds. Great stay!

House was tidy. Loved the location in an old fishing villiage along the Bon Secour River. Family friendly area. Easy drive to the beaches in Gulf Shores. Loaded up on shrimp for the ride home from the fishery right down the road!

I love Bon Secour and this little fish camp. Take a break from the life and just relax here! Gil’s place is very comfortable and they have everything you need, including crab traps! Going to the pier for a beautiful sunrise and sunset are my favorite thing to do. If you are lucky, you’ll see dolphins cruising by or chasing mullet into the shallows for breakfast. And of course, you are within walking distance of the freshest seafood stores in the area! It’s neat to see the shrimp boats from Aquila Seafood pass by the pier. I discovered this place during 2020 and try to go back at least once a year! So glad Gil’s cabin was available for me to rent this year. My elderly Mom was able to go since the cabin only has two entry steps.

Very quiet area. A very well equipped cabin. Someone did their homework on things that would make your stay easy. Beds could be more comfortable. Enjoyed our stay and visit with family.

It was Me and Husband and our two puppies.. We loved this cabin/ cottage . The pier is wonderful all of enjoyed our time on it . Fishing , crabing and just spending time in swings We even saw dolphins . We met some of the locals on the pier and they could not have been nicer . The owner Linda went out of her way to make sure we could watch our football games. We will be back !!

Loved our stay. Clean and well equipped. Close to the beach and Pier fishing. For a couples getaway, it’s perfect. Lots of fresh fish , shrimp to make your own boil. Good restaurants a short drive too.

The cottage was the perfect place to have a relaxing fishing vacation with the beach a convenient 20 minute drive away. The inside was super cute, clean, and comfy and the area was quiet and safe. We definitely will come back as soon as we can!
