Stayed Apr 5, 2025A cosy cottage tucked away but close to the beach. Really well set-up with everything you would need. We had fine weather but the nights were cold outside, but the heating was excellent and the wood-burning stove added to the cosy atmosphere. I liked the fact that it has a private garden too. I definitely recommend this property.

Stayed Jun 7, 2023A great base for a two week stay in the east Neuk of Fife. Fig cottage is a lovely traditional cottage with a fresh and contemporary interior. Perfect for my husband and I and enough space to have friends and family stay over for a few days. The cottage is well equipped, has a spacious garden and is extremely close to the beach.

Stayed Apr 27, 2023Lovely cottage, bright, nice decor, great secure garden and great location, 30 seconds from the amazing Elie beach and just behind The Ship Inn! Also lovely and quiet. One minor suggestion would be if there was a small welcome pack of some basic items. It’s always a nice touch eg enough tea bags, sachets of coffee, pint of milk just for when guest first arrive. Oh and some salt and pepper would have been good. Apart from that, would highly recommend.

Stayed Jul 30, 2022The perfect location for a sporty family. A short walk to the sailing club and a 2 minute drive to golf and tennis. Great to be so near the Ship Inn too!
