Hosting a king-size bedroom and a family bathroom, this property can sleep up to two people. Inside you will also find a kitchen and an open plan sitting and dining area with a wood burner. To the outside is off road parking and a gravelled garden to therear with patio and furniture. Resting in a desirable location and close to scenic attractions, Faraway Cottage is a fabulous retreat in a beautiful part of England.

Note: There are no formal pathways in the woodland so guests are free to roam and explore, however the walk to the river is downhill and can be very wet at times so wellies are highly recommended.

Town: Longtown is a town in Cumbria that runs alongside the River Esk. It is a base for a holiday as it comes in the centre of four different Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town itself offers shops, pubs and restaurants. There is some beautiful places nearby, offering more places to go and things to do. Brampton and Carlisle are nearby with beautiful buildings. As Longtown comes so close to Scotland, it would be rude not to visit, with the stunning town of Dumfries within easy driving distance.
