Stayed Jul 11, 2025The description of the property online differed from the actual property. The house smelled like dog and had hair on the floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. My family and I had to clean it first in order to be comfortable. We received a 200 refund because of this.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025The location was great! The beach was beautiful! The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, but the beds were terrible. The master bed sloped to the left and was incredibly noisy and there was dog hair throughout the house.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This property is wonderful! Spacious, relaxing and functional. Most importantly it felt like home. There is room for everyone, comfortable beds, and all the dishes needed for cooking and eating meals. Variety of games/puzzles for when the weather is poor and SO CLOSE to the beach when the weather is fantastic. Did I forget to mention the views - really stunning! Great for watching for ships and boats or just taking in that fresh blue water.Our group had lots of people coming and going, so it was nice to have inside and outside deck gathering areas. Stayed and entire week and glad we did. Got to enjoy the beach, the dunes/State Park, town and exploring around the area. Not too far from Hart, Pentwater, Ludington if want to go shopping, on a fishing charter, or out to dinner.Would recommend staying at Praline Woods 100 percent.

Stayed Aug 23, 2023We really enjoyed experiencing a 'Pure Michigan' weekend at this home, which had amazing views of Lake Michigan and gorgeous sunsets each night. The only thing that was somewhat inconvenient was that the entire town of Silver Lake shuts down at 10:00 pm - as long as you are prepared for that you will be fine, but we had planned to get a pizza after going to the winery for live music Friday eve (highly recommend that by the way) because the Silver Pointe General Store was listed online as open until 11:00 but didn't answer their phone after 10:00. Then even when they are open until 10:00 they don't take pizza orders after 8:15 (?????) - so be prepared for this sleepy town and have food on hand where you are staying!

Stayed Jul 23, 2023We had a fantastic stay! The house is gorgeous! The property was perfect for my large family. We just loved sitting on the front porch watching the boats during the day and the stars at night!

Stayed May 27, 2023We had a group of 8 people and a child. The location and house are great. It is so close to Silver Lake and Michigan Lake. However, we had the issue with neighbors. When we came, the neighbor next to the door complained that we left our vehicle on the line between his property and the property that we rented. We moved our vehicle much close to the house as it was possible. Later ,the policeman came to the property and said the neighbors made a report of disruptive behavior such as driving 4-wheelers around the neighborhood. It was around 9 pm. Next day morning , we had breakfast at 10 am on the deck and turned on music. The owner of the house we rented and Evolve team contacted to me afternoon that a few neighbors complained about loud music. The owner asked me keep the noise outside down , especially in the evening. In my opinion, we didn’t listen music loud and made a noise . In short , we had a stressful weekend instead of enjoying a couple days off.
