EVERGREEN ESCAPE: Private Cottage close to South Shore Beaches

Great home that is clean and wonderfully cozy. All furniture is updated and house is fully stocked with all you need. The location is incredibly convenient but feels secluded and quiet. Best of both worlds. Can’t wait to come here again.

House had it all with attentive landlord and easy access to beach and town. Very clean, cool, and well thought out for a weekend or week. If you are willing to forgo looking at the water, this is excellent relative value versus what Nantucket has to offer..

Our family of four really enjoyed our one week stay. The cottage was extremely well organized and clean. Super efficient for a family our size. Our main concern was having only one bathroom but it was not a problem at all. No water pressure issues which can plague many other homes on the island. Even better we didn’t hear any planes despite being less than a mile from the airport. Lorri was great to communicate leading up to our stay - given how organized everything was we never needed to reach out during our stay! Thanks for hosting a great week on the island.

Our family of 4 recently stayed in Lorri’s cottage and it had everything we needed (and more) for our stay. No detail was overlooked and the cottage was very clean and cozy. Lorri was also flexible with our dates, easy to work with and communication was great. Definitely would recommend renting a vehicle to make the most of your stay!

we enjoyed our stay at this cheerful cottage all recently redone. it had everything we needed for a short stay- bbq, washer & dryer, beach chairs and umbrella, outdoor shower— making it really easy to move in and move out with ease. Lorri was great to work with.

The house is darling and so well appointed with all of the necessary comforts. It was perfect for our little group. The owner is great to work with, and the house had everything we needed for a fun trip to Nantucket.

The cottage was perfect for our stay. Very clean, basically brand new cottage. Beds were comfortable. Living room and dining/kitchen areas are perfect for family time, watching tv, or cooking. The host was outstanding at being flexible with us during out stay. The loft bedroom is very spacious and a unique space with a nice bed. We had a great stay and I highly recommend this cottage during your visit to Nantucket.

Easy, clean, and worked for us

The property met expectations and beyond. We had everything we needed. The owners did a beautiful job with the renovation. It's close to town, the beaches and the airport. The owner was very responsive and I even had the opportunity to meet her. She was very nice and helpful.

My wife, 3 month old, and I just returned from a one week stay at Lorri’s beautiful cottage. The cottage was perfect; it had everything we needed (and more). The property is centrally located, so we were easily able to see most parts of the island…which is no small feat with a newborn! From the moment we booked the rental through to check out, Lorri was responsive, helpful, and just an overall great person. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a carefree, dreamy week on Nantucket. - Tom
