Stayed Jul 31, 2021We found the cottage to be in disrepair with many things that did were unacceptable . For example, the microwave, the iron, the coffee maker, A filthy toaster oven, two out of five useable beach chairs, and a broken ceiling fan that wasn’t fixed during our stay If more than one air conditioner was on, the circuit tripped. Lights frequently dimmed and flickered throughout the cottage. Placement of Trash/ recycle removal was 900 ft from the property. The property was quite expensive for what we received. The only saving feature was the shady yard and the view of brackish water . I would not recommend

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our group had a nice stay at this home, which was close to everything we wanted to enjoy: Chappy Beach, Shining Sea bike path, West Falmouth Market and Falmouth Center. The property is within walking distance to the beach, which we did each night to take in the amazing sunsets. The lovely grounds were perfect for lounging with family and friends. Do bring your kayaks or canoe if you have any as the boats there are not for taking out. You will be wowed by all the awesome bird watching, but the launch is basically in the marsh (no dock) so bring your water shoes and be careful as the tide can be high so your boats need to be well secured. Having kayaks gives you yet another way to get to the beach! One of our party did use one of the bikes there but you've got to bring yours to enhance your stay! The house has most things you'll need to cook/prepare good eats, but no condiments or spices so bring your own. We also brought our own basic spatulas/etc. and non stick pans which was good to have. Beds are fine, no major complaints and house has cottage feel throughout. We enjoyed lounging on the sectional to watch tv or chat. Some of us had to do a little work while there so it was helpful to have good internet. The bike ride to town is super easy on the bike path, so you can basically never get in your car if that appeals to you too. Overall relaxing stay!

Stayed Jun 28, 2019Third time staying at this property, and love it every time. Private location on the bike path and on a cove for kayaking and paddle boarding. Close to Chappy Beaxh, the market and Chappy Grille. The house is quaint but spacious, with plenty of outdoor patio space and parking - great for large families like ours. Looking forward to staying there again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The photos don't do it justice! Such an adorable place! Everyone in my family, from young to old, loved this lovely, charming home. It has a very comfortable, air conditioned master with attached bath on the ground floor for my relative with bad knees and another similar ground-floor room for my older parents. The little ones loved the playroom and our siblings thought the guest house was perfect. Upstairs (2 very nice bedrooms) got a little hot by day but cooled off every night, without exception. We ate many meals in their amply equipped kitchen and enjoyed dining al fresco on the back porch watching the sunset over the water. I hate to be so cliche...but what a gem!. Chappy's beach was wonderful for families and just a short walk. Couldn't have wished for more. Thank you for sharing your place with us! Until next time (hopefully).
