The cottage is centrally located in the heart of Coldstream with great views of the River Tweed. It's very well appointed with everything needed. Two decent bedrooms both ensuite with good walk in showers. It's a great home from home.

Pros We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this quaint, comfortable, well-equipped cottage and would go back again! Particularly appreciated the welcome pack of food and drink, and basic essentials, eg loo roll and a few dishwasher tablets etc, so we didn't need to rush out immediately to go shopping. Very peaceful location by the river, with beautiful views and parking available a few metres away. Perfect location to walk the dogs straight out of the front door. Comfortable beds, especially the master bedroom. Appreciated having an ensuite bathroom for each bedroom. Tiny kitchen but perfectly functional and well equipped. Easy collection of keys using key box code (located behind external door which leads to the passageway towards the back garden). Very helpful and friendly owner who was always very responsive. Coldstream is a nice town to visit and well situated for exploring the local villages, countryside and the coast. Cons Need a car as there is no train station in Coldstream, unfortunately. We went on a day trip to Edinburgh, so recommend parking the car at the train station in Tweedbank (or Berwick on Tweed).

Spent just 2 nights at cottage but we enjoyed it very much. Very warm and cosy. Slight problem that instructions I was sent stated that key safe is to the left of the front door. In fact it is through a door to the right of the front door! We managed but glad it wasn’t in the dark.

We had a lovely two night stay in Rosybank Cottage in Coldstream. The cottage was warm and welcoming, and the fresh eggs, beer and snacks were gratefully received. The area was peaceful with river views and pleasant local walks. We enjoyed the local Indian restaurant and spent one day walking around Berwick, and another visiting Seahouses. We certainly will try to return for a longer stay.

We have stayed here before and booked again as we loved the location and the spectacular views of the tweed and Cheviot hills from the cottage. The beds are super comfy and the cottage is warm, clean and very tidy. Would recommend to all.
