Endsleigh Cottages, Middle Cottage

Had a lovely few days at this historic cottage. Beautifully maintained with lovely views and exceptional host.

We had a very relaxing wonder stay at Endsleigh Cottage, highly recommend.

Middle Cottage is a lovely little character cottage just minutes drive from the centre of Havelock North. My husband, daughter and I had a lovely three nights there whilst visiting family in the area. The cottage is very quiet and peaceful, the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Loved seeing all the beautiful old NZ timbers in the doors and floors, and the re-use and repurposing of materials. And such lovely gardens too. Enjoyed our coffee each morning on the lovely little decks. Would happily stay here again.

It was an extremely cold & wet weekend in Havelock North and the cottage was cold. There was 4 heaters in the cottage and we had them on day and night. The back door lock was difficult to navigate so we locked it from the outside and only used the front door. Found treats in the fridge, a lovely surprise.

Very clean, very peaceful. Loved all the birds and the amazing fruit trees. Really enjoyed eating the fresh oranges from the tree.

We loved the location and the house. So quiet at night and Margie met us as we drove in wondering where to go!

Step back in time, not a detail missed.

This property was just magic. Although the pictures were lovely, they really don't do it justice - we were all quite taken aback at the thoughtfulness that went into ensuring all the little nick nacks were in keeping with the period of the home. The grounds are just gorgeous and the recommendation for local eats by Margie was en pointe. The only negative for us was that we couldn't stay longer!
