Great views and comfortable beds. Small but comfortable house. Would not recommend for people with mobility issues. There are stairs (slick when icy) and the floors inside are uneven. Kitchen has basic necessities (could use a cutting board). Close to ferries. We enjoyed our visit.

If you're looking for a simple place to stay that's right on the water then this is great. It's definitely not meant for a group of adults for a family of 4 it's perfect because kids can stay in the smaller rooms. Had everything we needed.

Had a great stay! Please read all reviews before booking. Hosts were responsive and wonderful. This is a cottage. It is small and needs some extra love. If you are 6 ft or taller this is not for you. Again, it is a cottage and the ceilings are low and the rooms are very tiny. I wish it was warmer and we could enjoy the patio, it is beautiful. The view was amazing and a great relaxing place to go after our long days.

The view is breathtaking. The place is small and the ceilings are low, but I’m short and it was just me and my frenchie so I was in heaven.Everything seemed to be very well stocked and clean and well taken care of. I did not need for anything.I hope to stay here every time I visit my family in Seattle!

Interesting property. Communication with host a plus, and Mike kindly corrected an error I made in booking. Great location, quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed watching the wildlife off the deck. No requirements to strip beds, do laundry. Interior does have several features that are not conducive to tall people. Small kitchen, but ample dishes/supplies. Exterior a bit more dated than photos. View windows need a cleaning/fixing.

This is such a cute and cozy place with gorgeous views of the sound. We enjoyed using the kayaks and seeing the jellyfish! The beds were very comfortable. The location and view is amazing! This is a small, quaint, and quiet place to hang out and enjoy nature. I left a 4 star review because this place needs some TLC. The deck was sketchy and needs to be replaced, the windows overlooking the sound were very dirty on the outside which impeded the view, but we would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful and relaxing stay. The view was everything we hoped for and the entire place was comfortable and easy. We enjoyed kayaking around Oyster Bay, being greeted by the sunbathing seals, and exploring the historical naval ammunition depot. Being so close to the water was amazing as we watched the jellyfish and seals swim by right below us. A one-of-kind place to make beautiful memories.

This property is the one you want if you want to litterally sit on the water. While the cabin could use some love and maintenance, we chose to return due to the location on the sound and the access to kayaks, along with the stunning views. You cannot get closer to the water unless you’re on a houseboat. Jellyfish (moon jellyfish - the harmless type) are abundant. Crabs and seals kept us entertained during our stay. Gulls would enjoy their fresh catches on the water and land when tide was out. An old pier and a sunken sailboat are in the water ready for exploration. Relaxing area in the sound with minimal boat traffic. Even on Labor Day weekend, it wasn’t packed with motorboats. More of in and out traffic, but def left for the ease of kayaking on still waters. Plenty of towels provided for a week’s stay. Love that they have everything needed in the kitchen. If you’re more about the indoors - the views are still stunning. Would recommend and plan on renting again.

This was our third visit, we love this cozy cottage. Super relaxing with a view you never get tired of. We took the kayaks out in oyster bay where you can see thousands of moon jelly fish. The NAD marine park is just a short walk away. But our favorite thing was just relaxing around the cottage and hanging out on the deck. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment. Looking forward to returning next year!

The location of this property could NOT be any better. On the absolute end of a spit of land and directly on the water with amazing views. When the tide is in, the deck is literally out over the water and seals and water fowl will swim right by. When the tide is out, there is a small rocky beach that you can explore. Kayaks are supplied if that interests you. The cottage itself is relatively small and as previously mentioned does have very short ceilings. This did not bother us at all as we were expecting a seaside type cottage with quirks. The floors are uneven, the cabinets are oddly shaped and it just adds to the character. The large windows in the living room look directly onto the water so even in poor weather there will be a lovely view. The outdoor patio space is adorable and where we spent almost all of our time while we were not sleeping. The cottage was very clean but there is some evidence of it being a bit worn down and could use some general upkeep. Some of the wood trim is rotting, the deck is extremely worn in spots, the outdoor rug is pretty tattered etc. It didn't bother us much but if guests are very particular it might be bothersome. There are several upgrades in the cottage...the bathroom appears completely redone, the kitchen appliances all seem very new etc...so there is definitely some attention being paid to this. It is also located an easy drive to the ferry to Seattle. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this stay and would visit again.

This property could use some updating to furniture, exterior furniture cushions and deck repair. We did, however, enjoy the quaintness of the property. The location was perfect as it wss right on the water with beach access. Bonus was the use of the canoes complete with oars & life jackets. The unit was well stocked. I would recommend the updates to make your stay more comfortable but overall we enjoyed our stay.

We loved staying here. The description should have included rustic but that is not a negative. If you are expecting the Hilton, forget it. But if you want a comfortable place to stay with a great view and access to the water, this is it. Appliances are all new. Using the kayak was wonderful. The water is very calm. This was such a darling beach cottage. It is a little quirky, but we loved it! Very comfortable beds, loved the kayaks, and very clean. Only odd thing was the AC is set up to vent out to an open window causing it get a little muggy inside. We were gone most of the time during the day, so it didn’t bother us too much. My boys had so much fun looking for crabs. We also saw hundreds of jellyfish! Overall absolutely loved this place.

Beautiful waterfront property. There are houses all around but most of the time we had the beach to ourselves. The kayaks were a big plus! There are 2 youth and 3 adult kayaks (one takes in water, so really 2 adult kayaks). Portable a/c in the living area was a lifesaver. It doesn't cool the whole cabin in warm weather, though. There are only 2 very old box fans, so if you're local and able to bring some good fans I'd recommend it. The back bedroom in particular got very hot. No dining table, but the patio setup is fantastic and we were able to eat all our meals outside enjoying the view.Plenty of dishes, plenty of towels, everything you need (except bath soap - bring your own). Very convenient location with Safeway and restaurants just a short drive away. (Note: Closest grocery store is WinCo but they do not accept credit cards.) Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the end of the point cottage. The location and outdoor space are amazing. We watched harbor seals swim right under the deck at high tide. The kayaks to explore the bay were a nice amenity. There are windows across the front of the cottage that overlook the bay. The ceilings are a little low in a few places but both my husband and son who are almost 6ft did fine. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed most of our dinners on the deck watching the water. Though the cottage is small it’s well laid out and we had good space with two adults and two older teens. The property owner was great to work with. The hot water heater went out during our stay and he responded to us quickly and had it replaced the next morning. Thanks for the relaxing stay!

We rented the cottage as well as the main house and it was absolutely perfect for our big group. The cottage kind of has the feel of a house-boat, a bit slanted with low ceilings. We love this place so much! We've stayed here I think 4 times now. I told my family if I ever disappear and they can't find me, to check here first because this is where I'm going if I ever run away from home. Peace, quiet, fresh air, wildlife... it has everything I want in a getaway. At high tide, the ocean is literally below the windows and under the deck. At low tide, you have a nice pebble beach to walk on. At night there is a floodlight you can turn on that lights up the water - this trip we saw a seal, otters, lampreys, fish and crabs. It's not fancy - the floor is uneven and the ceilings are low - because it's a converted boathouse. But it has a fully equipped kitchen with nice appliances, and it's spotlessly clean. The bathroom has tub and shower with decent water pressure and a laundry room with washer and dryer of course. There's a queen bed in the larger bedroom and twin bed in each of the other two very small bedrooms. The outside space is amazing! In addition to the incomparable views, there is a dining table with fire pit in the center and 4 chairs, plus a covered patio area with comfy furniture and a very nice romantic lighting. There are kayaks to use if you're not lazy like us. Go here - you won't regret it unless you're a fancy pants that can't handle a little charming imperfection or if you're over six feet tall and have an aversion to ducking a bit.

We very much enjoyed our stay and the magnificent weather in April allowed us to make the most of the outdoor deck/patio and the incredible view. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it should be noted that it is not for tall people (over 5'10) there are many ceilings/beams that are very low. It is a charming beach cottage but the floors are very uneven I am sure due to the age. Clean as a whistle though

If you look old-timey cabins, you'll love staying here! The only thing to be aware of is that the ceilings and door frames are quite short (we had some fun thinking about the cottage being built for Hobbits). Only downside is the size (height) — as someone who is 6'2, I found myself having to duck throughout most of the house and hit my head a few times. Other than that, I highly recommend. Hidden gem!

Wonderful setting on the water, close to many attractions. Everything you need for a great getaway. Will definitely be back again.

The view and location is awesome. But we were actually very disappointed. This place is in dire need of repairs- painting, flooring, the skylight has the tint peeling off it and it looks bad. This place needs an upgrade. The cloth shades were dirty, behind the couch there was a small package of corn snacks and the oven was dirty- not funky, but it hadn't been cleaned. Underneath the coffee maker was spilled.

Beautiful location overlooking Puget Sound. Clean and compact with everything you need BUT if you are 6'+ beware of low door frames. My son cracked his head - ouch 😪

The views were spectacular! Loved having kayaks however I was a little shocked by how tiny the house was. If you are over 6ft this is not the house for you, also looks like it could use some updates. Maybe a new deck, there was no door on one of the rooms. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed the deck and sound.
