Easy Beach Access - Short 2 block walk to the beach!

We had a good weekend because we were with friends and the nearby beach is excellent. The location is the best thing about this property, and the price was reasonable. However, I would not stay here again.The biggest issue was cleanliness. When we arrived, one of the beds had clearly not been changed after the previous guests. The other couple traveling with us got into bed late at night after a long day of driving and found sand in the sheets. That is unacceptable for any rental.Check-in was also very frustrating. We were sent directions and GPS coordinates that brought us directly to the house, but we were not given the door code. We had to contact customer service while standing outside in the heat, and were then told to drive to the office even though we were already at the property. The check-in instructions should have been complete and accurate before arrival.The unit itself is in poor condition. Several items were loose, broken, or falling apart, including a towel rack and door handles. The layout is also strange and not especially functional, particularly around the kitchen.The beach access and location are very good, but the property needs proper cleaning, basic maintenance, and better check-in communication. We enjoyed the trip because of the beach and our friends, but the house itself was disappointing.

The house is great, was spotless, pet friendly. Host was awesome, easy check in. Would stay again.

Pros: Very convenient location 2 blocks from the beach. Open floor plan perfect for large families. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and dishes. Each bedroom was relatively clean & beds weren't hard. No sign of pets even though it's pet friendly.Cons: House is very bare bones. They only provided 1 trash bag, 1 paper towel roll, 1 toilet paper roll for each bathroom, and no basic cooking seasonings or spices. One of the sink stoppers in the jack-and-jill bathroom was broken so the sink wouldn't drain unless you pulled the stopper out.I'd recommend this listing only if you come well equipped with supplies.

This place was perfect for our quick family beach trip.It was a great location and wallet friendly.

The setup was great as far as the rooms go, the kitchen was great. The dining room table was large and well suited for our group, four adults and five children. The porch space was great as well, plenty of space for the kids to play and the adults to relax. The one thing that would be an improvement is if there were more rugs inside to reduce the amount of sand tracked into the house.

It was a great trip. Perfect for 3 generations of our family.

We had missed that there is another rental on the bottom floor and so were a little concerned when we saw other people on arrival, but it never was an issue at all. I do wish there had been a vacuum in the closet to make cleaning during the week a bit easier, but overall this was a great place for our family to stay for the beach and fishing all week. Would stay again!
