Stayed Jun 21, 2024We had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home , for the weekend. Its listed as a rustic retreat but was far from rustic. It had all modern conveniences and was newly updated. Parking was ample and the setting lovely , in the woods, not too far from water access. The host, was very communicative and offered refund as the high speed internet had not yet been installed but will be in the next few weeks. As we wanted a quiet retreat, of course we didn't mind. I believe the amenities listed a hot tub, and we were a little disappointed it was not there. As a new rental they are still , finishing up with installations. The kids enjoyed use of the kayaks, despite the rain all weekend. The rain itself just added to the ambiance and we did get to see a doe and her young faun stroll down the road just past the driveway. On Saturday we attended the fairy fest at the crystal cave store in town which was magical. Being able to return to this lovely home just made it even better. We did manage to capture some pics of real life fairies playing in the woods. The granddaughters and grandson, enjoyed the wings and wands immensely. Over all this rental is a 5-star. We noticed some little things that needed attention, but the whole stay was magical and I would recommend it highly. We have attended many vbro rentals over the years and this is definitely worth a visit. Thankyou Gabriella and family for sharing you beautiful home.
