Driftwood Cottage by Bloom Stays - family friendly cottage with sea views

Just returned from a lovely 11 night stay at driftwood cottage, superb location, lovely cottage, could do with some talc, some wallpaper coming off the ceiling, the double bed is really uncomfortable, only a thin mattress , we couldn’t sleep on it, the cleanliness in the cottage was overall clean but the floor in the living room was filthy. All in all a lovely cottage.

A relaxing stay at the cottage wonderful view out to sea from cottage cosy and all the comforts of home .a very charming village feel to Sandgate not over crowded like so many other places

The accommodation is spacious and very comfortable. Discretely decorated throughout in a seascape theme. Complimentary Prosecco, chocolates and biscuits very much appreciated.

We had the most amazing time away. Couldn’t ask for a better host. Thank you for the lovely welcome gifts and for answering all our questions. It is a true gem of a cottage. We can’t wait to come back again.

Just had a fantastic week at driftwood cottage, a bit off putting from the front but it’s lovely inside, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and right on Sandgate beach. The cottage has everything you need for a great holiday, can’t wait to return.

A place to relax, look at the sea and watch the world go by. The front of the property is on a bus route but once you are inside the cottage and when sitting outside overlooking the sea it is peaceful. Very well equipped for all your needs.

We had the most wonderful few days staying at Driftwood cottage, such a beautiful cosy home away from home. The house had everything we needed, and there were even some lovely welcome goodies on arrival. Was lovely to be right on the beach, the view from the master bedroom was stunning to wake up to every morning. A blissful stay. Hopefully will return in future!

Amazing cottage right by the sea. Stayed for three nights with my children and mum. It was a dream to be able to sit in the garden right next to the beach while the children played in the beach like it was their own private garden. The house had everything we could need down to blankets and beach towels. It was very comfortable and homely. Only slight issue is the bathroom door was very hard to open once closed maybe something to look into.
