Cozy Ohana, located on a beautiful 5 acre working avocado farm.

Picture perfect ocean views away from the hustle and bustle of Kona, but close enough to have a great day in town to return home to your quiet piece of paradise. Your 300 sq ft lanai has an unobstructed view of Kona coast.

Fully stocked kitchen with induction stovetop and ocean views from both windows.

Large bedroom with beautiful views of the Mauka side. Features king size bed with high quality bedding foryour comfort after a full day exploring the island. Small nook with bunkbeds is a fun area for the kids to crash.

Living room has comfortable furniture to relax and enjoy the TV if you desire. Additional bedding for the Murphy bed provided upon request. Free dedicated WIFI (not shared with main house).

Our home runs on catchment, which means we rely on rain for our water. It goes through 3 filters so tap water is perfectly fine to drink!

We are located between Kona and the volcano, situated at 2200 feet elevation which is great to escape the heat. No more driving all day, you will be there in half the time.

Feel free to walk our fully fenced 5 acres and enjoy that we have over 70 avocado trees, lychee, papayas, oranges, Tahitian limes, variegated lemons, apples and bananas! We also have 1 dog, 3 cats, and about 20 chickens that you are welcome to pet and feed (please ask for feed).

Beaches within 30 minutes driving distance include Green and Black Sand beaches, Two Step Beach, and Pebble Beach. And we are just a short drive to Captain Cook with all its coffee shops, cafes and restaurants, fruit stands, antique shops, and more.

We do live on the property and there are usually other family members and friends around. The Ohana is close to the main house so you will see us but you DO have privacy and sound insulation from main house. Please keep in mind that we are a working farm. While it is quiet and peaceful here vast majority of the time, you may occasionally hear our farm vehicle or other equipment.

This is your vacation! Let us make this a trip to remember.

We would love to help with any additional activities during your stay.
We have snorkel equipment and beach toys available for your use.

Jordan is a professional chef and would be happy to prepare meals for you if you preorder (additional charges apply). And Natasha is a Real Estate Agent (in case you want to make Hawai’i home or investment opportunity!) and a certified Pilates instructor who would be happy to offer private Pilates sessions (additional charges apply).

Let us help make this an unforgettable getaway.

This property was likely lovely a few years ago but it now suffers from neglect. A deep cleaning of cupboards which were broken and really dirty. the pots and pans were the worst we have ever encountered badly scratched up and warped. The biggest problem though, was inadequate heaters. It is higher altitude and very high humidity so when it drops to the low 50’s it feels like the 40’s. The one small heater could help 1 space but with 2 sleeping areas someone will be very cold. This place could be a gem with new cabinets, pots and pans, a deep clean and another heater. The internet didn’t work while we were there, they came to fix it the morning we left. I don’t know if this happens frequently. They said it didn’t. I hope they fix it up.

We had a mixed experience staying at this vacation rental. The location was absolutely stunning—remote yet not too far from key points of interest. It offered a peaceful, serene atmosphere where we could relax, enjoy nature, and stargaze at night. The setting truly made it a tranquil retreat. However, the property itself didn’t meet expectations. While the amenities had great potential, cleanliness was a major issue. We encountered roaches throughout the space—under the couch, in kitchen drawers, in the bathroom. The kitchen appliances were unusable due to the state of cleanliness. The shower curtain also had mold. When we brought this up to the host, we were told it was “part of Island life. They offered to vacuum and set traps, but this never materialized. While island living comes with certain environmental factors, roaches are not something that should be accepted in a home. They’re unhygienic and can pose health risks, especially for those with allergies and sensitivities. We live in a city where roaches are common, but we would never tolerate them in our own home.We truly loved the location, but the property needs significant improvements in cleanliness. We hope the host will address these issues for future guests to fully enjoy the experience.

A nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Kona but within reach of Captain Cook and Volcanoe / Hilo areas. We enjoyed our short stay chilling on the deck and exploring the farm with short drives to 2 step snorkelling and coffee farms and cafes. Nice place to return after a long day of exploring.

Although our paths didn’t cross with Natasha and Jordan - they made it known that they were always available. The Dragonfly Healing Farm was full of warm aloha spirit. Simple and well taken care of, it was the perfect place to unwind each day before venturing throughout the island. Mahalo!!

Loved the hosts but the cottage itself could use a bit of updating and cleaning (mostly the kitchen). Would stay again as the location was great for us

We loved our stay on the farm! It was private and open, the stars are UNBEATABLE. There are great sleeping options for the whole family and lots of space to spread out in just 2 rooms. Everything is a drive in Kona, so this spot was perfect for what we wanted to do. The water catchment is super cool, though we had a hard time adjusting to the taste for drinking and really appreciated that the hosts very generously provided bottled water option too. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed staying at Dragonfly Farm. Hostess was very welcoming! Beautiful avocado farm with chickens & goats & cat! We loved the attached backyard deck for morning & night hangout, beautiful views! And florally fragrant air was unbelievable. Kitchen is well equipped for meal making. It’s a 1 bedroom as bunk beds are in main room. King bed was very comfortable! Host and hostess share beach chairs, masks, towels are convenience- perfect! Many beautiful and less busy beaches not far away. Loved the location away from Kona-busy.

My two daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The sounds through the night, I will miss the most. Waking up to the chickens made me feel at home! The charm this place has is amazing. The location allowed us to explore the area and not drive all day.
