Downtown Cozy Cottage Family Retreat

We enjoyed our stay at the Copper Cottage! Quiet and secluded setting. Cottage is well stocked with supplies and completely comfortable. It’s an old home needing some updating but has a ton of character and charm. There is no kitchen table or dining room but plenty of room on the screen porch. Super convenient location and can be in town in just a couple of minutes.

Good location, communication was excellent. But now, it seems the host is unavailable. I tried to send him a private message. The person who stayed there in March and said it's in need of a deep cleaning was accurate. I have loads of pictures to support that. A big item for me was the fact that they do use a strong fragrance in the Linens and towels. I am super sensitive so I had difficulty sleeping because of that. I think if the owners would go in and do an inspection they would realize there are things that need to be done. It would be very nice if some minor repairs and painting and cleanup were done. There is no dining table so we had to improvise for eating, as well as for playing games. The kitchen smoke alarm is missing.

This is such a beautiful home! It was perfect for our trip. We have a child that has been accepted to GSSM which is within a mile away and we live 2 hours away so we stayed here for his orientation. We will book again! It was charming and clean and walking distance to dining options.

Great location and house was full of amenities. Owners were very attentive and responded quickly when asked questions about the property!

The house is in need of a deep clean. Lots of spiderwebs inside the house-between the decor and the walls, in between couches and pretty much everywhere you looked. The front room has a bed that creaks with every movement. We ended up leaving a night early just so we could get a good night sleep. If the house got a very deep clean and they resolved the squeaking bed issue this would be a good place to stay. On a positive note, the owner was helpful and responsive. We had asked for food recommendations prior to arrival and they made some great suggestions. We also had trouble locating the trash can and they brought one to us promptly.

Hosts were so accommodating! I was in town during my dad's hospital stay, and I couldn't have felt more at home. It is such a cute house, and although it is small, there is plenty of space for multiple people. :)

Lovely little cottage! The place was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed being able to sit out on the screened in porch. Kevin was a good and attentive host.

Everything was as expected. The house was off the road and very quiet. Would definitely book at this property again!

Parking is tight, the grass was tall so a lot of bugs, the house was not clean on the inside, the outside of the house was dirty. Not a welcoming feeling.

First let me say we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves at your home. The listing is very accurate and even better in person. Second the check in process was very easy and we were even allowed to check in early. I would definitely recommend your home to family and friends!!!!

This was a cozy little cottage in a secluded and private country location. If you are not afraid of little critters and are ready to relax with some real country living this is a great home.

We visited family in Hartsville and it was a nice and comfortable place to relax during our stay. We had everything we needed and more!

Lovely spot

My sister and I enjoyed our stay in this cute house. We were there for my daughter's graduation from Coker College and it was so close to Coker College. Due to size of Campus, I would not walk but probably a 15 minute walk if you wanted to. Would stay again. Jamie

Great location to Lakeview Club in a nice, safe neighborhood. Very comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom with plenty of towels. Main level beds were very comfortable. Third bedroom is finished space in an attic with no HVAC. The access is very small and only appropriate for young children. Based on previous VRBO rentals, this property was not clean enough. The floors were very dirty . When we realized this, we used the vacuum in the unit to clean them. The canister on the vacuum filled completely after cleanings. The cooktop on the stove was not clean. The parking was not accurately described as it tight could only accommodate 2 vehicles.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in this cute and quirky little cottage. Zero complaints. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch and my teens liked the loft space away from us boring adults! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great experience with the owners when we needed a place to stay on short notice. Upon arrival, the house was exactly as described and provided us with what we needed. The enclosed porch was a bonus space we enjoyed while taking business calls. Will visit again!
