Stayed Sep 18, 2025What a surprise! Point Cottage was so cosy and welcoming! A perfect location for us. The cottage had all of the amenities we could wish for and a beautiful garden Ticehurst is only a short drive away and we went to lots of local places of interest - there is so much to see and do! We hope to be back soon!

Stayed Oct 10, 2025Lovely cottage, cute, clean and comfortable. Convenient for our stay at a wedding in nearby village. Shame outside lights weren’t working to enjoy and sit in the garden at night. Although it won’t bother most, the cottage is situated on a fork road with cars flying by at very fast speeds, noisy and dangerous. Overall we had a good stay.

Stayed Aug 9, 2025Easy check-in - details sent in advance, and lovely welcome pack inside. Place is lovely - a traditional cottage - you can feel the history. And the nature. It’s very cozy. Some good local eats nearby (we did Cherry Tree and Queens Inn) and some excellent family-friendly days out nearby (we chose Bodium Castle, Bedgebury Pinetum, Tunbridge Wells and Battle Abbey).Kitchen facilities and other handy amenities (towels, hairdryer etc) very good.Top tip for finding the place - if you come uphill from Ticehurst the front of cottage is on the fork at the top, so you need to do a tight right turn to double down the other side and slowly pull up to the back of the cottage. It says this in the email, but still took us a while to figure out as sat nav suggests it’s elsewhere Overall a fab place to stay - highly recommend

Stayed May 27, 2024We had a very pleasant stay here. House is well equipped, great for relaxing in, and we had some lovely walks to/from and around Bewl water. We'd highly recommend combining a walk with lunch at the Bull Inn!

Stayed Apr 29, 2024We could not stay at this property. Unpleasant smell. Busy traffic on both sides of the house. We found a better and much cheaper cottage nearby. VRBO was of little help resolving our concerns with this property.

Stayed Jul 28, 2023A lovely cottage with a nice garden. Very good beds and cosy living rooms with open hearth. Cars are driven very fast at the road by the house but with the windows closed the noise is to do well. We felt very welcome so many thanks to the owners!

Stayed Jun 3, 2023Great location for visiting the beautiful gardens nearby and being able to walk to some good pubs. The cottage is very old and full of character but is right on the edge of a road. It was too noisy to leave the windows open and not helped by a large pot hole outside the cottage.

Stayed May 18, 2023We arrived in Ticehurst the day of our stay around 4pm without any communication from the management company identifying the address and lock box combination. We finally met the ow Ed and received the key around 7pm. It was a very annoying experience. The stairs were very steep and the height of the doors were low. I am 5’8” and continuously bumped my head.
