Stayed Jul 29, 2022The contact person was un responsive. Left a phone message with a question and he didn’t bother to respond at all. Liked the property. Quaint and private despite winery tasting room just steps away.

Stayed Nov 26, 2025Great stay. 3rd or 4th time at the DeSolina Cottage. Always very peaceful and restful. The nextdoor tasting room and kitchen offer great wines and equally great options for lunch. Located between SLO and Pismo / AG, plus other Edna Valley wineries (Kynsi!) a perfect location for a few days away from LA or SFO area.

Stayed Oct 5, 2025Adorable cottage exactly as advertised. Needs a local map as we didn’t have a good idea best way to get places. Loved the deli and lunch place next door. Winery for those who drink wine. Very relaxing. No cable TV. Only streaming, but Dean set it up for us.

Stayed Aug 21, 2025Charming, quiet and nicely equipped cottage. I expected spots like the front patio and steps from the Sextant tasting room made this a delightful vacation! Owner was great and let us know in advance exactly what amenities were available. Really great stay!

Stayed Aug 6, 2025DeSolina was a charming fun little cottage in a winery. I suggest arriving before sunset because it does awfully dark and finding parking and front door was a challenge. Thankfully Dean was on hand to help us . Otherwise it was a great stay. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was well stalked for a light meal, the patio was lovely to sit in and watch the stars or drink coffee. We actually ate dinner our there one night. We are lunch at the deli and it was delicious. Got a free wine tasting with our meal. Not much to see on the neighborhood, although the old buildings are fun to see. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed Jul 14, 2025DeSolina was a beautiful and romantic little one bedroom cottage. It was perfectly described. Easy to find, easy to check into, and within steps of Sexton Winery. What is not to love!?!? One word of caution, even though the cottage is very spacious, the kitchenette is basically just a refrigerator and a microwave. So plan accordingly. But everything else was absolutely perfect. Would definitely come back again.

Stayed May 23, 2025The pictures are kinda deceiving , while accurate they do not depict the location in real time .. the ourdoor spaces cannot be used because they are so overgrown and dirty (patio and patio furniture) The Bed is not sutible at all for sleeping , its broen down and must be really old . And the bathroom smells realt bad of pet urine if the floor gets wet at all Its also really really dark at night It does offer outstanding proximity to pismo and nearby coastal cities but I will not stay again

Stayed Nov 26, 2024Great stay and experience. It's difficult to describe, but felt detached from urban or downtown life. Enjoyed the peace but also enjoyed the option of a quick drive or bike ride to DT SLO, Pismo, or AG.

Stayed Jul 17, 2024My partner and I had a wonderful time at the DeSolina cottage. If you’re looking for a rural setting but close to town this is a great choice. A 10-15 min drive to town but feels a world away. The host was very friendly and communicative. Highly recommend for a nice getaway. We’ll be back again.

Stayed Jun 14, 2024We loved our stay at the cottage. The check in process for easy and the host was responsive to our requests while at the cottage. The kitchen was perfect for coffee and breakfast bagels. No stove or cooktop...so don't plan on any big meal preparation while staying at the cottage. There is a fridge but no freezer. Great for a 2 night stay. Nice to walk over the tasting room for a glass of wine!

Stayed Jun 21, 2024This cottage is absolutely darling. With the wine tasting room only steps away, it was almost like I had my own private vintner/sommelier. The sunrises and sunsets were delightful, along with the resident doves that would coo from the beautiful California pepper trees. The cottage was very clean and had everything I needed for my stay. I’m looking forward to staying here again, next time I’m in the area.
