Stayed Oct 16, 2025The cottage suited us perfectly. We were in town from Sydney for a wedding and had an extra few days to explore the area & Dennis Cottage was in an ideal area to do this. The cottage was clean & tidy, had everything we needed and was very comfortable. There were some eggs, fresh bread, bacon, milk & juice provided which was great. A cafe with great coffee and food was literally a minute walk from the cottage. Check-in was easy and communication with the hosts was excellent. We did get the wrong free wifi connection emailed to us but this was sorted very quickly - not that it was essential, but the host sorted it anyway which was great. I would definitely recommend the cottage for anyone wanting an extremely comfortable & convenient place to stay to explore the Clare Valley and surrounds.

Stayed Dec 26, 2024We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable, had everything we needed, has a lovely, tranquil garden & the spa was definitely great after a 50km bike ride. The added extras such as chocolates, a bottle of wine, bacon, eggs, a loaf of bread & water bottles was an added bonus. (Just sorry that Velvet & Willow Wines was not open over the Xmas/NY - would have loved to have stopped in there.) Thank you for letting us stay, Ileen & Richard.

Stayed Oct 30, 2024We found the two storey cottage to be even lovelier than it had appeared in the photographs as it is surrounded by a wonderful garden. Very private, although close to the main street and the grounds of the nearby cafe. Comfortable beds and the living areas/kitchen made our stay very enjoyable. The additional provisions for breakfast as well as wine and choccies made our stay memorable and were greatly appreciated.
