Stayed Aug 29, 2025Overall, the house was beautiful, clean, and accommodating to our needs. The exterior however, had an abundance of spiderwebs, which we had to clear out around the home, porches, as well as the dock. The only negative, and this is a big one, is the understated walk to the water described in the listing. We were expecting a walk to the water the distance itself was not altogether concerning however the slope of the “hike” is in my opinion extreme. If there was any amount of water or debris on the path, then it was also dangerous. I was worried about someone twisting an ankle the whole time. The adults are in our 40s and also we had teenagers and all agreed that this hike to the dock was a serious hindrance in our ability to enjoy the water. It meant we weren’t able to take things that we wanted to to and from the water as easily, and therefore caused us to spend less time at the dock, simply due to the extensive slope and hike. If you’re young and fit, it’s doable, but I would not recommend this property for anyone out of shape or with small children, and certainly not elderly. I just think there should be more transparency about this in the listing, that way people can make the decision themselves whether they can handle it or not.

Stayed Jun 16, 2025The house was beautiful. We had a fabulous time. The only thing that caught us off guard was the walk to the dock. My parents came to visit for the day and were unable to walk to the dock due to the terrain. It is steep and muddy (due to the rain we had the previous night). The setup of the house is wonderful, everyone had their own area. Comfy beds, quiet area for good sleep. The dock was wonderful.

Not the fault of VRBO or our property manager but we experienced no electricity on Saturday from approx. 6:00 pm until Sunday 9:00 a.m. Also had no internet, TV etc access from Saturday 6:00 p.m. right through checkout on Monday. Anya was excellent in dealing with the situation cause by a severe storm on Saturday.

Stayed Aug 14, 2024The house was as described. There is a second kitchen on the bottom floor which was nice when we had multiple people cooking. The house was clean and plenty of room for our group of 6. The lake was quiet and calm in this part of the lake. Thanks for letting us use your home.

Stayed Jul 7, 2024The house was clean and spacious. Check in was super easy. Had one small issue that the owner took care of immediately. Our favorite part was the private dock! Our teenagers had a BLAST!!! Definitely would recommend if you’re looking to not spend too much money outside of the house, we were there for a week and spent 2 1/2 days at the water!

Stayed Jun 21, 2024Stayed for WWBA. It was roughly an hour to each park we played at but that was fine with us. House was nice, clean, 5 minute drive to town for groceries, gas...etc. Short walk to dock for swimming or if you bring/rent a boat. Host was very responsive. All around great experience!

Stayed May 31, 2024We had a wonderful stay and hated to leave! The house has a great layout for everyone with a separate living area downstairs. Our family played pool, enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was so relaxing at the end of the day. We rented a boat which was great to keep it at the dock! We can’t wait to come back, we miss lake life already!
