Crafty Cottage - sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom

Crafty Cottage was perfectly located for exploring Chipping Campden and surrounding area. The cottage had been very recently refurbished and redecorated and was very well equipped. The parking space was a bonus. Housekeeping responded quickly when we had a problem working out heating controls. The only niggle was the shower cubicle which we found very small but otherwise a lovely cottage and would definitely recommend. PS. There is no longer a downstairs loo although it is still in the description!

Thank you so much for the invidual touches such as the Christmas card and present. We had a wonderful stay and would certainly recommend Crafty Cottage. It was so cosy and very well heated in a very cold period. Some more cutlery and plates would have been appreciated as well as instructions for the oven. Thank you very much.

Loved the cottage everything was as it should be. Well equipped & very cosy. Just a point of note, the enclosed garden isn't accessed straight from the door maybe good to know if you have a dog as we did.

The cottage is conveniently located a couple of minutes from shops, pubs and restaurants. It was such a cosy cottage with the added bonus of a Christmas tree, which was a nice touch. We couldn’t find anything to fault with our stay and would definitely consider staying there again if we visit Chipping Campden again.

Beautiful cottage! Cosy country feel but with up to date and modern feel also. Perfect for a couple. Had absolutely everything we needed. Parking was ideal and such fab location to the gorgeous high street with lots of little pubs and cafes along with little shops to explore. Great location and no further than 15-30 mins drive from all of the locations we wanted to visit (SOTW, Bibury, BOTW, Burford & Clarksons Farm) we don’t usually stay in the same place twice but we both said we absolutely would!

We enjoyed our several night stay in Crafty Cottage. The place was clean, roomy, quiet in a great location in Chipping Campden. We could walk to all the shops and restaurants in town. Also, great walking in the area. The hosts provided very useful information, including walking trail maps. The location was perfect for exploring other towns in the Cotswolds. The only low spot was the communication from the host. There was utility construction in front of the cottage which had us lose our oarking spot for 3 days and electric power for a day. When I first noticed the road closed signs I messaged the host to see what was going on and never heard back. We know from neighbors that owners were notified about a month earlier of the road closure and electricity disruption, so we know the hosts were aware. It was disappointing we were totally ignored with no information. We had to work with the construction crew to figure out what was happening, including when we would get power back

Good position in town. Internal decor tired and needs updating. Kitchen worktops sticky, obviously not cleaned properly, mugs dirty. Customer service poor on arrival. Over priced.

Delighted with the cottage for our 3 night stay. All very clean and well equipped. Would stay again.

Cottage very well located & a big advantage having off road parking space! Comfortable & clean although surprised there was no welcome pack (eg milk etc) & no toiletries in the bathroom (shower gel). No towel provided in downstairs loo. Chipping Campden very pretty & some very good eateries within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay & exploring the local area.

Crafty Cottage is within easy reach of the centre of Chipping Campden. This village is breathtakingly beautiful and has all the amenities you might need. It is perfectly placed in the centre of many Cotswolds’ attractions. The cottage is very well designed internally with the bedroom a particular delight. The fact that there was a private garden was the icing on the cake; it was perfect for a lazy breakfast or relaxing evening with a glass of wine. We would love to visit again.

Stayed here for 3 nights in May 2025. Crafty cottage is very cosy, with a very comfortable king size bed and well equiped kitchen. Private space for parking right beside cottage. Its located on a side street just off Chipping Campden main street so very handy to the shops and restaurants. Only downsides for me was the traffic noise from road, the very limited outside seating area and the uncomfortable 2 seater sofa.
