Cozy Cottage on the shores of Lake Champlain with views of the Adirondacks

The place was clean and had everything needed to relax and also the ability to cook. It’s a really beautiful location, accurate to the description. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. It’s a great place to unplug and it was only about 30 minutes to Burlington and many great hiking locations. Host is responsive and helpful.

This cozy little cabin in the woods overlooking Lake Champlain was a perfect, peaceful getaway from city life. On a crisp fall day I was able to see for miles- water, mountains, lovely fall colors. A perfect walking/ biking destination.The cabin had everything you’d need- a full kitchen, clean and adequately sized bathroom, a cozy and comfortable bedroom. I cannot think of any negatives!

Our stay here was amazing. Everything was as advertised, if not better. We are already looking forward to returning and we just got back. I added some photos to help others find their perfect stay.

Easy check-in and lovely that we could drop our bags and find the cottage in the daylight, a bit before check-in, given its location. Also helpful was that we had a crossover SUV that could handle the very remote, downhill, narrow road to the cottage — a lower vehicle might bottom out. The cottage was spotless, with a beautiful location, but if you struggle with narrow stairs, the bed location may not be suitable for you. TAKE water jugs as the water is not potable--we wish that was listed, given the need to take medications, fill water bottles, etc. Great place for the price and Charlotte is just lovely--

We had such a restful week! We enjoyed the view of the Adirondacks, the ferry passing by. We enjoyed the sounds of the waves and sailboats at night. We look forward to returning the next summer as soon as we leave.

The cabin was clean and cozy, the location spectacularly beautiful. The host was very friendly and helpful. We had the best time and hope to return.

Amazing property. Everything is just perfect.

A wonderful stay! Getting to the property could have been tricky; Glen sent a message with explicit instructions and it was a breeze! Check-in was easy as well. The cottage is a small walk to the rocky shoreline which is great for exploring. Glen was attentive and always ready to help if we needed anything. The cottage is an amazing build and on cooler nights you can feel the breeze off the lake. It is a quiet location and very private. I would definitely recommend whether you want to explore the local area or just get away from it all.

We loved this remote cozy cabin on Lake Champlain. So different from most rentals. Rustic, yet comfortable, surrounded by towering cedars. Owner was very accommodating. Great place!

Clean, simple and relaxing. Perfect for us. Sounds of the lake put you to sleep. Just to find a criticism, it’s the first vrbo we’ve stayed at that didn’t have coffee on hand. We recommend!

Place is small but clean and quaint. Nice view of water and mountains. Would stay again.

This home is bright and airy. The view from the porch is 180 degrees of lake. We swam, kayaked and floated in the cool waters of Lake Champlain with complete privacy. The house is small, but has everything we wanted. The kitchen had nice quality appliances. The on-demand hot water made the showers amazing. Glen is a fabulous host. We have stayed in many camps along the lake and this is our favorite.
