Stayed Aug 29, 2025My sister and I stayed over Labor Day weekend. I rode my motorcycle from Ohio and we had plenty of parking for her SUV and my motorcycle. Cabin was easy to find and very close to Rabbit Hash. The roads around the area are amazing for riding. The cabin was perfect for 2 people. I slept in the loft and she slept on the sofa pull out. We both slept great although the loft is quite small but I was okay with that. We found everything to be super clean and it was stocked with everything we needed. Although we didn’t cook, there were plenty of essentials on hand to enjoy a great meal! Also there are plenty of restaurants in Union (about 30 minutes away).The best part of our stay were the hosts! Sean and Karin were truly amazing! I could have just hung out with them the whole entire time! They made sure we had everything we needed and were so accommodating. In fact, they let me stay an extra night at the last minute! I was so happy If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, beautiful place to stay look no further! There is also another cabin on the property that is a bit larger so if you have more than 2 people this may accommodate you better. I am very excited that I found the Sunset Gem. It will definitely be my go to spot in the future!

The owner is extremely quick to respond to questions & was so nice & helpful in making our stay even better. The property is clean & decorated very well. The area it is in is gorgeous. Short drives to Rabbit Hash, Burlington, Indiana & Cincinnati.
