Cozy Cottage in Rye Beach with lake view

Such a cute little place to stay! Only got 1 night there but would ABSOLUTELY come back and stay for longer! Especially to see the surrounding area! Beautiful views of the lake close to the property!

The house fit our needs perfectly. So close the lake! House was clean and provided all the amenities.

This was the perfect little cottage! It was clean and well maintained. Would definitely come back and stay!

Lovely house

We recently stayed at this lovely VRBO for a girls' wine weekend, and overall, it was a great experience! The location was perfect, with easy access to all the nearby wineries, making our trip convenient and enjoyable. The place itself was nice, providing a comfortable atmosphere for our getaway.Unfortunately, we did encounter an issue with the heat during our stay, as the furnace broke down. While it was a bit uncomfortable, the owner was very responsive and brought over space heaters to help keep us warm. We really appreciated his effort to accommodate us under the circumstances.Despite the heating issue, we had a fantastic time and would recommend this place for anyone looking to explore the area!

This property is located fairly close to Cedar Point parks and has a nice waterfront view. It's somewhat located in a quite neighborhood. We could tell that Scott and his family have done a great job to make sure that their guests' stays would be enjoyable and convenient. Since the temperature dropped a lot overnight when we went, we appreciated the extra blankets and pillows (it also has a fireplace, but it wasn't usable at the time). It was overall a nice, clean stay and my family and friends enjoyed staying here. I'd just note that, probably due to the age/or build of the house, noises were quite easily heard throughout the house. Parking was a little tight (we had 3 vehicles) and probably being on a waterfront, encountered some bug issues (just don't open your windows/doors during warm nights).

We have stayed at a few different places in Huron over the years this one was our favorite. Nice and clean lots of space walking distance from a playground and close to the water. Hosts communicated well! We had everything we needed and got in and out easily! Highly recommend! We will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Lovely prooerty clean and nice layout with basic linens provided which was perfect for our one night stay.The only issues were that the lock instructions were alightly incorrect but that may have been user error!And netflix had been logged out but thats likely a previous guest.Lovely location. 39 Oakwood was a great place to stay. So close to Rue Beach. Close to Walmart but family feel neighborhood!! Loved it !! Kitchen sink clog issue but the owner responded by phone call quickly. Wi-Fi was great! Great air conditioning.

The property was perfect for our family. Neighborhood is quiet and offered plenty of things to do. The house was clean and the decor was perfect for a vacation home. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this 3-bedroom cottage in Huron. The location was excellent—close to everything we needed and perfect for a relaxing and fun getaway. The cottage looked exactly like the pictures, which was reassuring and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was having a washer and dryer on-site—it made our stay so much more convenient. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great place to stay!!! Everything you need and very clean!!

Perfect house for what we needed! There were 4 kids and 5 adults. The house was plenty big for our short stay. It had all the amentities we needed! The house was exactly as it was described in a quiet little neighborhood. The private beach was so close to a house's back patio we felt a little weird using it but not a big deal as we had a beach day @ Nickle Plate beach. I would stay here again.

A group of us were traveling with the Hot Rod power tour. Arrived after a long day on the road and the place was very clean and comfortable. we only stayed one night but it was comfortable and clean and gave us a great respite before heading back out on the road. Thank you for your hospitality

We loved this property- we were in the area to go to Cedar Point and needed a place to rest and relax after. This was approximately 10 minutes from Cedar Point and about a minute walk to a small park on the lake. The kids loved fishing and the property was extremely clean and comfortable.

This was the perfect spot for our group to rest up for a long day at Cedar Point. The house was just as described! Owners wonderful to work with. We highly recommend this place if in the Huron area.

This property is in a wonderful location. Lovely, quiet residential street. Water view from the home. Short walk to a lakefront beach and a small park. Completely updated. Tastefully decorated with charming lakehouse decor. The beds are very comfortable. Lots of pillows, blankets, and towels are provided. All beds, bedding, linens and towels are in new condition. The layout of the home is terrific. Main living floor is spacious with a full bath and a bedroom. Upstairs there is another full bath and two bedrooms. Gives a nice sense of privacy to everyone in your travel party. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Convenient location in Huron. Close to Sheldon Marsh (great for birding). Close to restaurants in downtown Huron. We truly loved everything about this property and will definitely stay again when we are back in Sandusky. The owners of the property were very professional and responsive. Excellent communication and very accommodating with our specific travel logistics. Highly recommend this property.

We were traveling to Ohio for a wedding with my elderly parents and dog. This house was easily accessible with a first floor bathroom and bedroom, and it is impeccably clean. The hosts were more than accommodating, kind, and prompt to answer inquiries. We loved looking over the marina. I recommend this place highly.

Great food and great times

Listing presented the premises truthfully. Owner was timely in their responses. Sole complaint would be that a shovel and/or salt would have been beneficial for clearing the back deck & steps of snow/ice.

If you are a lover of roller coasters, family centered activists, and a quiet place to stay, this is a great spot for you. Overall, my family and I had a great stay.

The house was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Beds comfortable and everything was in good working order. We enjoyed swimming, fishing and playing on playground @ Rye Beach.

The cottage is in a great location, especially for parents with children. A short walk to the private beach and park. A short drive to beautiful Nickel Plate Beach. The cottage had all the essentials and plenty of space. Our kids especially loved the bedroom TVs!
