Stayed Feb 27, 2026Located not far from Stratton Mountain access road. Some quirks to its set up, but this place has the essentials. This owner says don’t worry about cleaning up before leaving; owner takes care of it, which is nice. In winter, recommend all wheel drive car for ease of access.

Stayed Dec 27, 2025Host was responsive and friendly! Property was as advertised and in pictures. For us it was great for what we were looking for— very close to Stratton mountain for a ski trip only about a 15 minute drive from the mountain but tucked away from the business of the resort. Beautiful location but it is quite rustic! Worked fine for our group of two adults and a teen.

Stayed Oct 3, 2025What a perfect location for a getaway. Although we had difficulty finding this tucked away home in the dark (it’s behind another home and nestled in the woods), we were delighted with the secluded location. And once we found it, the greeting from the goats and sheep put the biggest smile on our faces. The home is cozy with lots to look at (which we love). Tg was responsive and able to answer all questions for us as they arose. Waking up on a large farm just steps away from farm animals was such a treat. The location for a fall itinerary to the Vermont Country Store, Buttermilk Falls, the Lincoln family home, Jamaica State Park (do the short but gorgeous Overlook hike) and so many more was ideal. Not to mention some delicious treats right up the road at Honeypie and Ungrounded Coffee (don’t skip the croissants). It definitely has a more well loved feel than a modern newly renovated but that’s all part of its charm and the pictures are accurate. We are already planning our return.
