It’s beautiful and functional and everything you could possibly need. We will be back. My only addition to the house would be some foam bed pillows.

They were so itchy and scratchy and stained in one bed. My kids slept on top the beds and wouldn't get in the sheets because of the stains and the texture of the sheets. For such an expensive house and beautiful furniture/ beds some nice cotton sheets would be expected. Otherwise, the property is beautiful and very clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Mint Julep. It was very clean and looks just like the pictures. This cottage is literally down the street from the most southern Cinnamon Shores bridge that goes over to the beach, so it is a short walk. If you plan to take kiddos and beach chairs, etc, I recommend renting a golf cart which you can take right on the beach. We are walkers so we chose to walk or park the car closer to the bridge. This home is spacious and well cared for. It is situated in a pod of 3, so the neighbors are very close in this resort. We loved Cinnamon Shores as it is very well master planned. The pools were great and there is a walking path around the lake. Please be advised as of October 2024, there is still construction going on in the South Resort, even directly across from this cottage which takes place Monday - Saturday. It did not bother us much, but if you are looking for peace and quiet, you may want to stay closer to the entrance. We walked this property at night as well and it is gorgeous and peaceful. Some minor cons: - the construction going on - not everything is open in the off season during the week - the bathroom in the master is the smallest in the house, so I often utilized one of the other bathrooms - NOTE TO SELF: the knives in the knife block are VERY sharp, please be careful - for any of the properites, there is no mid-week cleaning (fyi) - no store on site, but there is an IGG and a Dollar General just down the street in Port Aransas - there are lots of cars and golf carts on the beach and it is considered a Texas highway (so be alert, especially with little children) - the bed in the master is several feet off the floor and you have to use a step stool to get on it (however it is extremely comfortable!) - the stairs creak, this cottage has an old farmhouse feel, but if you are light sleeper, do not sleep on the bunks in the hallway - this property is right by the hig

Water didn't get as hot as I would have liked but everything else was great.

Everything we needed was available and ready for us. Sleep and relaxing was comfortable. Ants were a problem had to buy bait stations at local store and keep food in refrigerator. We stayed in CS South which is very much still under construction. Overspray paint landed on our vehicle which was an additional cost to remove. Recommend a golf cart.
