Stayed Jul 5, 2025This was our 5th stay. Julie and Peter are great hosts and we love to be able to wander around the farm and take in the beautiful views. Central to get to lots of different places so always lots to see and do.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We have stayed in all the cottages at Coombeshead over several years, but Swallow Cottage is the biggest and is really comfortable for a family holiday. We stayed for a week and, as always, were welcomed and made to feel at home by Julie and Peter. Coombeshead is a great base for exploring as it is close to major routeways, yet feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. It has a little bit of something for everyone, regardless of age and requirements.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed for one week in the Swallow cottage during July 2018. Cottage was beautiful and comfortable. There was entertainment for our daughter at the farm by means of the play barn, play ground and being allowed to help with the animals. The farm is beautifully located, the views are spectactular.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Coombeshead Farm has provided us with a relaxed and friendly enviroment where our children (17&8&5&1) could roam free and explore adjacient fields (donkies, goats, lambs) and orchards (chickens, frogs, guinea fowls) in safe and playful manner. Julie and Peter have been very friendly hosts and would often take our kids under their wings while going about the daily animal feeding routine - this unique experience has kept the children entertained and TV/iPad free :)
