Stayed Jan 17, 2026Pat was great, picked me up from the train station and brought me to the grocery store to grab some supplies. Place was cozy and super quiet/peaceful. I was here in January so I'd love to come back in the summer and enjoy the beach, which is right on the property.

Stayed Dec 30, 2025Lovely stay in a picture-perfect location! Cottage had plenty of space for me, my husband, and our dog. Waking up to the view every morning was a delight, and Pat couldn't have been a better host. We loved taking the 20 minute walk to town, too. If you're looking for a charming, rustic, clean, comfortable, pet-friendly country-style stay in the north fork, this is it!

Stayed Nov 13, 2024We stayed for five days in mid-November. I love coming here because it's so close, but you feel as if you're far away from home. (I live in southeastern CT, a ferry ride away.) The property is clean and well-tended, and the owner has decorated in a unique, creative way. Everything is comfortable, with interesting touches throughout the cottage. The water view is fantastic, and the main part of town is a pleasant walk away, less than a mile. I can't say enough about how helpful Pat, the host, is. He is full of local information and more than happy to make suggestion or give directions. My friend and I had a lovely, relaxing few days in this beautiful place, and we can't wait to visit again in the spring. I highly recommend these accommodations to anyone, whether for a short or an extended stay. It's a great setting for reunions or family events, as well.

Stayed Jul 3, 2024The chicken coop (cottage) gives you all the beach vibes! The colour theme in the cottage, the decor, the artwork, the layout, the big open windows in the main bedroom. The property gives you beach vibes as well as the old farm/country feel. Everything we wanted and more! If you're lucky enough to meet Pat, he will give you a full history lesson on the property and definitely ask him about the paintings in the cottage. Trust me. Definitely returning soon.
