In the outbuildings of a real Girondine XVIII, former house of a potter, beautiful cottage in the old barrel cellar.
The decor is an evocation of the culture of the vine and wine.
It preserves the qualities formerly used in the aging of Bordeaux wines that my father raised, in a completely redesigned layout where stone, wood, metal and glass mix.

Independent, quiet, on the edge of the forest in a hamlet 500 m from the village. Landscaped 400 m2 and English courses terrace of 80 m2. Lawn and cool shade of a walnut tree for summer.
Entrance, cellar, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower, vanity and double basin, separate WC with shower, desk and large living room on the ground floor; two large bedrooms upstairs: master bedroom one double and three single beds in the children's room; corner play.
Complete set of equipment: washing machine- in freezer fridge-microwave-dishwasher ondes- pro- electric + gas hob in the kitchen. Iron and ironing repasser- internet connection RJ 45 + WIFI, TV, satellite dish, stereo system, DVD CD player, library, outdoor games.
In addition, high chair and cot available.
Very well insulated, usable in winter: radiant heating and wood stove for fun.
Decoration on the theme of wine and vine bringing together many authentic objects from the old cellar

Near a Bastide Girondine of the XIV century -Créon- which offers, besides its fairground Wednesday, all the services of an average city.
Less than a mile from the bike path that connects Roger Lapébie Bordeaux Sauveterre a ribbon in the heart of nature over 50 km. The bravest can join the trail Bordeaux Lacanau to travel to the edge of the ocean
20 minutes from Bordeaux, 30 minutes from Saint Emilion but at the entrance of this beautiful region called Entre Deux Mers because it is between the Garonne and Dordogne.
Its landscape is often compared to those of Italy and it is sometimes called 'Little Tuscany'.
The Romanesque art offers its most beautiful florets: Abbey of the Sauve Majeure- Abbey of Blasimon and an infinity of castles of the Middle Ages and castles of the Bordeaux vineyards.
Partner Château Le Grand Verdus in Bacchus network, you can visit this magnificent Renaissance and taste wines produced on the property.
At 30 minutes is the site of Castillon-la-Bataille where took place the last battle of the Hundred Years War that made Aquitaine to the crown of France; a superb pageant evokes it every year during the month of August.
I can draw thematic tours on request.
And finally, for bikers, I offer the garage, the mechanical workshop and some road book conconctés by me

Sadirac, which sits about 30 minutes from Bordeaux, was a great place to get away from the bustle of the city while positioning us well to explore Bordeaux wines. So the fact that the property is a converted wine cellar just adds a touch of spice to a special trip.

The former wine cellar stay was very much like we wanted. Some rustiness but plenty modern with all the conviences. we cooked often and enjoyed eating on the patio. It is secluded and quiet - a good 20 minutes from the city, but we enjoyed it. Jean Micheal was great with instructions and communications even though he was on holiday in Italy. Would book again for sure.

Jean Michel and his wife made us so welcome in this charming home. The kitchen was well stocked so we could cook and enjoy our meals in the garden. Everything in the house worked well and the hosts were nearby if we had questions. They provided maps and plenty of information about the area to help us explore and enjoy our stay.

We were a family of four with two adult children. The house is easily big enough to accommodate us all. We visited Sadirac by bike and Bordeaux by car. This was a very relaxing stay. Thank you Jean Michel and Fabienne

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We spent a day touring the wine regions of Bordeaux, and the cottage was equally wine-themed which really put us in the mood! One of our party uses a wheelchair, and the cottage worked well for him. There is a large walk in shower (wet room style), and plenty of space. We loved the wine bottle on arrival, the coffee machine, and the fact that the cottage remained cool regardless of the searing sun outside. We also loved the decor.

We were warmly welcomed and both hosts spent time with us, explaining about the house, the area, how to get to places, etc. We especially loved seeing the orchard and appreciated their generosity with the wine in the fridge and the walnuts from their tree. Plenty of herbs growing on the garden which made cooking more aromatic. We enjoyed going to the market in nearby Creon

This is a beautifully restored property in a very peaceful part of France with lots of character. The bathrooms are superb and the kitchen is very well equipped. It feels like a real home. There is a boulangerie and a bar/café 5 minutes away by car and an excellent supermarket 10 minutes away by car. We didn’t cycle but there is an excellent cycle path network almost on the doorstep. A visit to Bordeaux, St Emilion and Arcachon is a must. Thank you Jean Michel et Fabienne you made us feel very welcome.

The property was fantastic. It had rustic charm, very clean and a pleasure to stay in. Very clean and plenty of space inside and out to enjoy. Beautiful views uninterrupted with farm fields. The owners were so helpful but not intrusive. Would definitely stay there again if going back to Bordeaux.
