Stayed Oct 3, 2025Sadirac, which sits about 30 minutes from Bordeaux, was a great place to get away from the bustle of the city while positioning us well to explore Bordeaux wines. So the fact that the property is a converted wine cellar just adds a touch of spice to a special trip.

Stayed Jun 1, 2024The former wine cellar stay was very much like we wanted. Some rustiness but plenty modern with all the conviences. we cooked often and enjoyed eating on the patio. It is secluded and quiet - a good 20 minutes from the city, but we enjoyed it. Jean Micheal was great with instructions and communications even though he was on holiday in Italy. Would book again for sure.

Stayed Jul 1, 2019Jean Michel and his wife made us so welcome in this charming home. The kitchen was well stocked so we could cook and enjoy our meals in the garden. Everything in the house worked well and the hosts were nearby if we had questions. They provided maps and plenty of information about the area to help us explore and enjoy our stay.

Stayed Jun 25, 2018We were a family of four with two adult children. The house is easily big enough to accommodate us all. We visited Sadirac by bike and Bordeaux by car. This was a very relaxing stay. Thank you Jean Michel and Fabienne

Stayed Aug 22, 2017We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We spent a day touring the wine regions of Bordeaux, and the cottage was equally wine-themed which really put us in the mood! One of our party uses a wheelchair, and the cottage worked well for him. There is a large walk in shower (wet room style), and plenty of space. We loved the wine bottle on arrival, the coffee machine, and the fact that the cottage remained cool regardless of the searing sun outside. We also loved the decor.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were warmly welcomed and both hosts spent time with us, explaining about the house, the area, how to get to places, etc. We especially loved seeing the orchard and appreciated their generosity with the wine in the fridge and the walnuts from their tree. Plenty of herbs growing on the garden which made cooking more aromatic. We enjoyed going to the market in nearby Creon

Stayed Sep 10, 2016This is a beautifully restored property in a very peaceful part of France with lots of character. The bathrooms are superb and the kitchen is very well equipped. It feels like a real home. There is a boulangerie and a bar/café 5 minutes away by car and an excellent supermarket 10 minutes away by car. We didn’t cycle but there is an excellent cycle path network almost on the doorstep. A visit to Bordeaux, St Emilion and Arcachon is a must. Thank you Jean Michel et Fabienne you made us feel very welcome.

Stayed Sep 1, 2016The property was fantastic. It had rustic charm, very clean and a pleasure to stay in. Very clean and plenty of space inside and out to enjoy. Beautiful views uninterrupted with farm fields. The owners were so helpful but not intrusive. Would definitely stay there again if going back to Bordeaux.
