Many thanks to Patrick and Mary for allowing us to spend time sandwiched between the shores of the Atlantic and the Sheep populated hills of Connemara - witnessing Patrick and Spot round the sheep up every day off the hills was a special experience between man and dog:) - a wonderful stay Many thanks again

Great aera, the location is amazing, the owner Patrick is very friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot.The cottage is old and quite simple, but it is ok. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean when we arrived.

We’ve been coming to Rosses cottage for over 20 years and we love it. It’s all about the location- the spectacular views, the accessibility of the beach and the tranquility. It’s a great base for touring Connemara but also a great place to just be.

This cottage had the usual shower issues (coming from Australia where there are no shower issues!). 2 ensuites - showers were passable. 1 bathroom - shower in the bath, no pressure, not passable. There were no instructions for the washing/dryer machine - a real mystery. The oven/cooktops were only ON when a switch on the wall (very odd) was switched on, with no hint that this was how you operated the oven/cooktops. The TV had instructions but were VERY confusing.

Beautiful views, lovely country cottage. Was raining every day didn't get to explore much around, but its December and I wasn't expecting any different. It was peaceful and relaxing. Totally recommend specially in the summer time. Looking forward to visit again next summer. Thank you very much.

This is the perfect getaway retreat for anyone looking to enjoy the wonders of the Connemara landscape. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped but the privacy and the surroundings are standout. We spent our time just sitting outside, swimming and paddle boarding from the sheltered private beach. And then admiring the stunning views from the huge windows. A real treat!

What a fabulous place. On the edge of the ocean, lovely beach. A place to escape to. Here peace comes dropping slow.

We enjoyed a very happy stay at this beautiful cottage. Mary and Patrick were most kind and courteous hosts and made everything easy. Thank you!

Stunning location! The property is well equipped, clean and comfortable but not luxurious; scheduling bathrooms because of limited power to electric shower heaters was amusing. The private beach is a novelty but the approach lane is particularly rough for a vehicle with less than average ground clearance. The location on a sunny day is unbeatable, we'd return for that.

What an incredible location, I went to paint and just had to open the door to see the most amazing views. We had a wonderful week in this delightful cottage, not to mention our private beach.
