Nice place to stay!

Great value with outstanding views! Perfect place for a family, as there are multiple places to hang out!

Driveway was narrow but ok. No real views of there are leaves on the trees and the home is dark with few windows.

It's listed as Downtown Blowing Rock.. It's 11 miles on a winding road and takes 20 - 30 minutes to get there. We wanted to change or dates by one day. I took 2 days to get an answer. Very nice cabin. Very clean, except for two of the tubs. One had bat sh.. all over and the other one had some bugs in it. The toilet in the upstairs bath had poop in it and was plugged. The neighbors dogs barked a lot. Even at night. The second night they woke us up numerous times. Internet was pretty good. The first night one of us couldn't watch TV. Not a big deal. Very nice cozy cabin. It is VERY remote, if that's what you want. On checkout TAKE YOUR GARBAGE WITH YOU. REALLY!!!!! We're on vacation with a full car. Tried to contact the owner. NEVER GOT A RESPOSNE. We ended up taking it with us. :( The drop of spot wasn't open the day we left. Had we known it was so far from town and the response from the owner was so bad (or not at all) and we had to take our garbage with us, we would not have rented this cabin.

The host was accommodating and friendly! The house was perfect for our needs and it was immaculate!

Beautiful home. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfy stay. Beautiful view of the sunset sitting outside on the deck. The driveway is more for trucks. I parked my car at the top and it worked out fine.

Didn't realize every bedroom was on a different floor my wife is handicapped had a hard time going up and down stairs bottom room smelt moldy AC unit is old had a hard time keeping up TVs kept freezing up

Great property. Our only opinion is the basement is a little cool and damp. Location is good drive away from Blowing Rock. Owners are excellent. Rustic and charming.Elevation is roughly 3,400 feet according to topographic maps, but I could be a bit off.Enjoyed the stay.

Our stay at the 3-story Cool Cottage was absolutely perfect! The cabin is spacious, with plenty of rooms to comfortably accommodate our group, and every corner is thoughtfully designed for relaxation and enjoyment.One of our favorite moments was having coffee on the deck each morning, taking in the breathtaking mountain views. It was the perfect way to start the day and truly made us feel connected to nature.The location is unbeatable—just minutes from Blowing Rock and Boone, with Grandfather Mountain State Park steps away. We also loved visiting the Tweetsie Railroad, which was a fun and memorable experience. Plus, there are countless great restaurants nearby, offering a variety of options for dining out.The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking to relax, explore, and create lasting memories. We can’t wait to return!
