The Bach is immaculately presented as well as the surrounding grounds. James and Sue are absolute legends and made our 10 day stay that much more enjoyable. James and Sue are lovely hosts. Their passion for the property and its history really shows. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay wasn’t too disrupted by two major phone and power outages that were beyond their control. A very relaxing environment — we’ll definitely be back.

Beautifully clean, peaceful and very comfortable accommodation in lovely surroundings. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. We loved our time here.

My friend & i had a great time staying here. Our hosts Sue & James were lovely & very caring of our needs. As we were the only ones staying at that time, Sue said we could go sit on the deck of the homestead house which was very relaxing. We were there when the tsunami alerts came up so Sue told us what the plan was in case of emergency which was very comforting as we were right on the waters edge. Everything was very clean & tidy & very nicely laid out. The kitchen was supplied with top quality things & good coffee! We highly recommend to anyone to come stay here & enjoy the surroundings. We wish we had more time. Thanks so much again Sue & James. Lovely to meet you.

Great place to stay a short but winding drive from Russell.

Just what we needed for a much needed weekend away with the family. Beautiful grounds to explore for us and the children. Close proximity to Russell township. Sue and James are lovely welcoming hosts.

As described. Hidden Gem with very well appointed 2 bdrm studio. Nothing too much of a bother for wonderful hosts Sue and James. The Logde looked fabulous for larger groups. Wonderful surrounds with a myriad of birdlife and an old olive grove. Peaceful. Plenty to do in easy proximity, or do nothing in a serene environment. Very happy. We will return.
