Chetek Escape (Lakefront)

Very nice place to stay. Very cozy. Nice view of the lake. Owner was very accommodating.

The primary bedroom was excellent. The house heated up nicely! Be sure to bring your own coffee or tea. They have a coffee maker, though. Easy communication and checkin. Attentive host.

This is a little piece of heaven! Clean, well appointed, quiet (blissfully quiet), close to town for shopping and restaurants. The host was wonderful to workl with! We caught a few fish from the dock. We rented a pontoon from Outers Resort. Very fair price for the week and Jamie was also wonderful to work with. I highly recommend staying at this property! We definitely plan to return.

The owner was very communicative and easily reachable. The house was the perfect size for our family. Beautiful view of the lake and direct access. Well stocked with everything for kitchen, bathroom, & bedding. Can't wait to come back!

We rented a boat and the dock was perfect. The place was a perfect beautiful setting on the lake. The deck we spent so much time on relaxing and by the fire. Perfect place to take my dogs for a morning run.

We had a nice time in this very cute lake house. A short drive to Chetek for shopping and bar & grill’s. Definitely will return in the future. Good communication with the host. Fully stocked with everything we needed.

Was quiet, peaceful just what we were looking for. Early spring so not alot of tourists yet. Surrounding areas were just as inviting. Very easy checkin and out. Host was very welcoming.

My intention was to get some work done, but you cannot help but feel relaxed! As hard as i tried i found myself on the deck watching wildlife and forgetting my stress! This is a birdwatchers paradise even in cooler temps. I didnt even realize how much i have enjoyed my time watching them its just so easy!

Exactly what I needed

This was our third stay at Chetek Escape and we enjoyed our daily Prairie Llake view, morning and evening. This home has everything you need. Plenty of space and if you want tv, there are plenty of streaming choices. The internet works great too. About a 5 minute drive into town. There is a local grocery store, a new bakery, which we recomend, and a new ice cream shop. The house is located on a quiet street a few miles from town and has a nice fenced in yard if you have dogs. The property manger is great at keeping in touch. The home is very clean, cozy, and quet. Enjoy your stay!

It was a fun weekend. The cabin was spotless and everything was perfect. Would definitely go back again.

Took the family for Labor Day & had an amazing time. View from the deck is beautiful. The campground next door has pontoon rentals, so we spent the day on the lake. Highly recommended!

The house was just right for us. The boat dock, fire pit, fish cleaning table and rear deck were used extensively. We hope to be back next June.
