Cheerful Mountain Cottage

The cottage was in a great location. 15 minutes from Waterbury and 89. Check in process was smooth and the beds were comfy. All bedrooms are on the second floor with a pretty steep staircase. Just letting you know if traveling with older people with mobility issues. Enjoyed our time and location of the property.

Host was welcoming and helpful. Great little cabin in the woods. Cozy fire on a snow filled weekend. Thankful for all wheel drive to get up the hill in the snow before sanders arrived. But the location was just the escape needed!

Perfect place for a fall weekend getaway! Easy access to Stowe and surrounding areas. We made a meal at the vrbo one night and were cozy every evening.

We had a very pleasant stay! The house is bright, open, airy, very clean and comfy! The kitchen was well equipped and had ample counter space. The bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms looked new. The photos are accurate. The house is located in a quiet spot in the woods up a steep dirt road. We heard a lot birds in the morning and saw a black bear. The location is convenient to Waterbury and Stowe. We enjoyed the hiking, biking, swimming and kayaking in the area. Tom replied quickly to our questions.

The location was perfect for our stay. The cabin had everything we needed. The Host was responsive to all issues and questions we had. The cabin is on a dirt road that is steep in places. (Many roads in VT are dirt/gravel roads). No problems for us. We enjoyed our stay.

Cute place very convenient. This was a stopping off place for our longer trip. Very relaxing. Enjoyed the area & the home.

This cottage had all the comforts of home and a great location for us, as our family lives just a few minutes down the road! Check in process and communication with Tom, our host, were seamless. Our only challenge is we had hot water issues, but Tom was very responsive and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable, quiet place to stay.
