Charming soundfront beach box with hot tub, game room, and stunning sunsets!

The home is lovely and nicely decorated. We were grateful for a well equipped kitchen, cleanliness, and amenities. We enjoyed the games, variety of books, and game area. We were thankful for the outdoor equipment, we enjoyed the kayaks, bean bags, beach chairs and more. The hot tub was perfect for warming up after a chilly day in the bay or at the beach.We were a family of 6, utilizing the bedrooms and the pull-out sofa bed. We were aware of the sleeping arrangements, but the living room could have used one more seat so 6 of us could comfortably watch tv together at the end of the day.

Pictures don’t do this home justice! I’ve been staying in the Outer Banks for 20 plus years and this home was not only beautiful but cozy. It had everything you needed and even the things you may have forgot to bring. The views were priceless! (day and night) We enjoyed every moment of our time spent here and cannot wait to come back.

The host Amanda was great, always there to answer any questions and helped us get settled in. The house was amazing and updated. We had a wonderful stay on the sound with beautiful sunsets. I will definitely want to stay there again for a full week.

This was our second stay in Best Box. We have the best time here. First, amanda and her husband have put so much thought into the space and decor - it feels very coastal, cozy and comfortable, and is immaculately maintained. We love the size of the space itself - very comfortable for our family of five. Our children asked if we could move and live here instead. The dock is great for fishing and quick water access. We have paddle boards and thoroughly enjoy paddling around the area, particularly up the little inlets where there’s a nice natural loop. The kitchen is well stocked, and it’s nice to have laundry in the unit. Means you can pack less stuff and plan to wash there. Water as far as the eye can see from the main living area makes morning coffee particularly relaxing and peaceful, even with our loud children. Enjoy your stay!!

The best box is amazing and well worth every penny. The decor, the location and the management as well as the owner are so welcoming. Everything you can imagine or even forget to pack is there. Thank you for an incredible vacation. We will be back!

Lovely home with spectacular views! Our family had a wonderful visit. The home has lots of tasteful touches that make you comfortable and help you relax while on vacation. We’re already planning our next trip!

We had an absolutely amazing stay. Everything at the house was as promised in the listing (or better!). Our family would celebrate with a Sunset Party each night as the sun started setting over the water of the sound - sometimes while using the house's kayaks, sometimes in the hot tub, sometimes floating in inner tubes off the dock, sometimes over a puzzle inside (with the big windows still providing great views), and sometimes over a late dinner at the picnic table outside. The public beach was also just a short and easy drive away - so that's how we spent many afternoons. Our family made SO many memories here. The owners and team could not have been more helpful - and they've thought of every detail at the house. I can't say enough good things about our stay! :)

This was our second stay at Best Box, and it will absolutely not be our last! It was just as wonderful as we remembered, and there were even a few new features that made the stay that much more enjoyable. The location is unbeatable and the house has absolutely everything you could need. Thanks for another wonderful stay!

We LOVED our time here! From the minute we turned into the neighborhood, we got so excited - by the time we turned onto our road and saw the house, we were over the moon. The house is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Decorations are so charming and unique, we loved everything! They provided lots of amenities, and the welcome gift was so sweet. There were more water toys and activities than we could even use in a week! The view is OUT of this world, vibes inside and out are truly unmatched. Hot tub at night was top tier. We loved absolutely everything about our stay, the host was super easy to communicate with and helpful. Truly cannot recommend it enough! Well worth EVERY penny!

I cannot express how much we enjoyed our Best Box stay! From our gracious hosts, the property manager, the meticulous details of the home, all of the amenities, THE SUNSET... just a beautiful property in a beautiful place. Amanda - you really thought of everything we could have wanted and more :) We cannot wait to come back for a longer stay.

This was the best VRBO stay I’ve ever had and I’ve had several great ones! Amanda was amazing and attentive, the place was perfectly maintained and the view of the water was sooo relaxing. We will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Had a party of 5 with the purpose of going on a fishing trip for 2 guys who were getting married. Each wedding later this year. It was amazing. The house and location could not have been more perfect. We almost didn’t even want to go fishing because of the location and view of where we were at. We became obsessed with kayaking and fishing off the dock. We even found an old crab trap under the house that we took advantage of and caught some crabs as well! The house itself had more than enough room for the 5 of us and had nearly everything we needed. Even the things we didn’t know we need d! Some of the guys on the trip who have never been to the OBX now plan to bring their own families and want this house to be their starting experience! Thanks to Amanda for being an amazing owner and sharing this fantastic experience with us. She could not have made it any easier!

This place is absolutely amazing. Close to beach access and beautiful sunsets over the sound. Outdoor set up was perfect for our family after a day on the beach. We will definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. A major incentive of staying here was the house came with everything you need to play at the beach and at the house (beach chairs and toys, fishing poles, backyard games, etc.).

This house truly has everything you need to have the best vacation! We enjoyed every amenity offered. The owners really thought of everything. The outside decks had the best views of the sound and beautiful sunsets. The Adirondack chairs were perfectly placed. We used the hot tub multiple times. We enjoyed the kayaks a few times as well. We made use of the cornhole boards and the beach chairs! My kids loved the outdoor shower. Inside had everything we needed to cook the perfect meal and we loved the way the house was decorated! So cute!! The place was immaculately clean! The beach is a short drive away. The neighborhood is quiet and great for walking. We would definitely stay here again!
