Charming Rural House Las Perez in Tenerife South: Scenic Accommodation

We stayed for 5 days and on the whole, enjoyed our visit. We wanted something quiet and away from it all and this house is certainly that! Accommodation is fairly basic but very clean, the biggest problem was that at this time of year it was pretty cold in the house, only one small heater was provided. First couple of days there was hardly any hot water as it wasn’t particularly sunny and the water heater is solar, the switch for the electric heater is behind a locked door not accessible to guests. A call to Maria/Jose solved this. Jose lives locally and is very helpful but only speaks Spanish so if you don’t, communication can be a bit difficult. We locked ourselves out one day and he rescued us in 10 minutes! You’ll need a car if you want to get around, don’t bring anything too big or you won’t get it up the very narrow driveway. There are no shops that we found in the village of Las Vegas and the only bar was closed. More information in the house about this would be a great help. Some stunning scenery and great walks, a fantastic place for getting away from it all.

Lovely little cottage and very friendly and kind owners who went out of their way to help us despite the language barrier the house was very clean as well as all the bedding and equipment provided Very quiet location and pleasant surroundings We would suggest an iron is provided as well as some additional heating as iit gets cold in the evenings If you are looking for a quiet break with some excellent walks and mountain views we would recommend this little gem

Nice and simple furnished house in a quiet area far from mass tourism. This house is suitable for those who want peace and want to walk in the area. At 5 minutes by car there is a small supermarket and restaurant. If you want more facilities, you have to drive a minimum of 20 minutes. That there was no hot water coming out of the shower in the morning, was less pleasant. Furthermore, great stay.s

Very clean linens beautiful location and the village is delightful. Wonderful to listen to chickens clucking. Dogs in the distance barking from shooting in the hills cockerels crowing from surrounding farms and distant bells from goats.

Loved Staying in the Finca. Very Spanish. Las Vegas is very Rural which we loved. Loved exploring the caves.Will definitely visit again and stay in Las Perez for longer.The Neighbours were the loveliest people you could ever meet. They made us so welcome!

Had an amazing time in Las Perez. The Finca was very authentic. Las Vegas is very rural which suited us.The neighbours were lovely and very welcoming! They brought us a home made cake and bottle of wine. We even had a musical afternoon in their home! They made our holiday special. We loved exploring the caves in the hills.We will definitely come back but for longer! Maria kept intouch which was really nice of her.s
