Our stay at this comfortable beach house was relaxing and memorable. The house was well equipped in all respects so that we didn’t have to worry about anything during our stay. It was an easy 5 minute drive to the heart of Rehoboth Beach, and the sands of Dewey Beach were 4 houses away. The property is pet-friendly so our dog got to enjoy a beach vacation, too.

The shower in bathroom had a high pitch ring when in use.

Very nice place to stay and can hold up to 9-10 people. Loved being on the quiet street and the beach was right there. It was very nice to have a full kitchen, also had condiments in the refrigerator. Great place to stay!

This house is amazing! So close to the beach (4 houses away). The Jolley Trolley stops at the end of the block and so close to Reobeth boardwalk and restruants. The pictures don't do this house justice. It is perfect for a family! I would definitely rent it again next year!

I booked this long weekend get-away somewhat at the spur of the moment -- I'd been struggling all summer to get to the Delaware shore and couldn't make it work with the schedules of three teens and a college student. Determined, I went looking for an extra long weekend and found this wonderful cottage. Just the right amount of casual and well-equiped. This is not a luxury rental by any means but for me, it was perfect -- beachy, homey, and with a comfortable living room, a game closet full of games and puzzles, a screened-in porch that was perfect all hours of the day and night, and a kitchen that has everything you could possible want for meals in. Just the right location -- on a small side street, not even a hundred yards from the beach access (the walk down the sand path to the water's edge is longer than the walk to the entrance!) and a quick drive to groceries, farm stands, the liquor store, Dewey and Rehoboth proper. The beach itself was not crowded yet offered the perfect amenities -- lifeguards, chair and umbrella rental shacks with snacks (although the house does come with a couple of chairs and an umbrella, as well as sand toys), and even a water ice cart that drives up and down the beach in season. (The rental shacks also leave chairs and umbrellas out for self serve and the cart attendant collects the money). I can only think of only two drawbacks to this otherwise perfect little cottage. The street is apparently public beach access, so people would park on the street in front of the house (really on the lawn) and there was a parade of people passing the house first thing in the morning and in the afternoon. This didn't bother me at all, but it did irritate at least one other person in our party (so maybe it will be a downside for others?). The owners also don't allow pets. Dewey is a dog-friendly beach (morning and evening in season, all day in the off season) and I very much missed having my dogs with me. (I was unable to find a house that was as good as this one that allowed pets, so I left my beach-loving dogs at home and had to play with everyone else's dogs at that beach! :( ) If the owners would consider allowing dogs (many of the other rentals on the street do) this would be a place that I would return to again and again.

Tonight is our last night here, and I can't believe we have to leave! We loved the location and the house (thanks for all the puzzles!). We ate all our meals on the screened-in porch.... This house is literally just a few steps from the beach. The walk to and from the beach is difficult for older persons because the walk is not lined with either the typical plastic mat or a wooden mat. Unlike this beach, if you look either way down the beach, towards Rehoboth or Dewey, you can see a sea of people/umbrellas. The entire week, we never had to sit behind anyone at the beach. There are lifeguards here, but significantly much smaller crowds at the beach. We loved it. We walked to Rehoboth and to Dewey several times. Dewey fun bars are just a few minute's walk south. The jolly trolley brought us home from our night out in Rehoboth. We don't want to leave! What a great week!

The pictures that are posted of this house are EXACTLY the way the house looks. My friends and I had the times of our lives! The house is the 4th house from the beach. We absolutely loved the screened in porch. We hung out there every chance we got. The kitchen was fully stocked. The house was so stocked that it seemed as if someone lived there full-time. We didn't need to bring anything but our own towels and sheets. They even provide the pillows, blankets, & comforters. It was a short walk to Starboard. The owner was always accessible, easy to talk to and eager to answer any questions I had -- the transaction went very smoothly. The parking passes the owners provide was the icing on the cake. Can't wait to go back!!

Our family of 8 enjoyed the house, porch, yard, jolly trolley, and convenient access to the ocean. From the LLBean comforters and new fluffy pillows to brand new washer/dryer, clean dishes and clean Weber grill, we were impressed with the attention to detail by owners and housekeeper. Owners are friendly and easy to deal with. Owners provide games galore and the most coveted -- 2 Dewey Beach parking passes. We hope to come again soon.
