Charming Historic Renovated Beach Cottage - Walk/Bike to Heart of Jax Beach

Host is wonderful, house is older with lots of charm and character. Back yard was perfect for our pup and host has thought of everything when stocking the house for guests. Thanks so much, we had a wonderful stay.

We arrived after dark and loved how easy it was to get our stuff in the house with no stairs and parking directly in front of the door. Plus it was a well lit in the entrance. We were there for 9 days. My husband was scheduled to have surgery at Mayo Clinic and they required us to be nearby. This house was a very easy 10 minute drive! I found it very easy to get back and forth between Mayo Clinic at all hours of the day with very little traffic. Mostly a straight run there. We also loved that the beach was only about a 10 minute walk away. The grocery store was within walking distance and so was the delicious donut shop! Lots of restaurants within minutes from this house. The couch and beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed! We spent most of our time indoors recovering from my husband’s surgery so we were very happy to have so many TV channels to choose from. The yard size was perfect for pup. The front porch was nice also. Overall we loved this house and would highly recommend it to anyone for vacation or needing a place while recovering from a surgery at the Mayo Climic. It was similar in price to staying at a hotel but so much more comfortable and easy to feel at home. We plan to come back again!

The house was just perfect for me, my wife, and adult son. We stayed 3 nights so our son could become aquainted with the area he is moving to. Location is great for the beach, restaurants, and things to do. The fact that all beach supplies are provided is great for those flying in. Very glad we picked this property.

We had a wonderful month at Sunshine cottage! Very close to the beachbut in a quiet nice neighborhood. We loved theCottage and also the bikes and front porch weregreat.

This house is wonderful. Charming older home with updates. Very clean and well cared for. Excellent location! Very short walk to Parlor Doughnuts. Very close to Jax beach fishing pier and park with great restaurants. Would recommend Jekyll Brew and Oaxaca! (150 Cleaning Fee and required insurance, but I would probably ask for this too). Wonderful home and location.

Sunshine cottage was an easy walk to the beach and shops. The kitchen was really nice and well stocked. The large dining room table was perfect for my family. Overall Shawn and Cyndi made it easy to reserve and were very accommodating.

I was at the GoRuck headquarters for a competition event. Just a block away, great neighborhood. A few blocks to the beach. Host is great, easily reachable, and no issues at all in that department. Vintage very private two bedroom home that’s tastefully appointed in the contemporary beach vibe. fully stocked pantry and laundry room, everything you might need. Can’t go wrong with this property. Plenty of coffee and tea and all the things that go with coffee service. Pots and pans need updating but dishes, flatware and glassware all excellent. Shed full of beach chairs etc. Gas Grill, private fenced backyard. Awesome screen porch for dining alfresco! Big fluffy towels and sheets all great quality and plenty of extra if needed. Super fast cable internet and cable TV on newer TV’s. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful home in a very safe, secure feeling neighborhood. Very quick, direct walk to the beach. We were fully stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms with everything we could have needed plus more. They provided wine and coffee!!! Adorable backyard to hang out in, lovely covered porch, cozy sitting rooms, updated kitchen in an old house that had lots of charm and character. Absolutely would recommend anyone to stay here, and will be searching for open dates for ourselves to come back to visit again. Host was extremely kind, hospitable, understanding, and helpful. Cannot say enough great things about our stay and experience start to finish! Thank you!!!

Second stay here and it has been excellent each time. Well equipped and quiet - minutes from the beach but private! Highly recommend and we will be back.

Very accurate description online. Charming historic cottage with modern touches. The hosts were so accommodating and friendly. The home is close to the beach and very Walkable to local restaurants as well. Use of the bikes were a plus. Bed was comfortable. Also well stocked. Would definitely recommend!

Sunshine Cottage was the perfect place for a beach getaway. The house is stocked with all the amenities you would need for the beach. Having the bikes and the beach chairs already there, made for much easier travel and packing. The house is conveniently located to great beach access and centrally located to all the needed places in town. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This home was very nice and we loved all the small touches the homeowners did to make us feel welcome. Very well kept, clean, and convenient. The homeowners thought of everything we might would need! Enjoyed the bicycles provided as a means to get around the area! Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!
