Charming cottage with washer/dryer and patio - walk to Long Sands Beach

We were able to check in early which was great however it was clear the renters before us made a mess of the house. The rugs weee very dirty and actually turned your socks or feet black. I spoken to property manager within hours of. Heck in and Donna apologized and advise the prior renters did this and they would be getting the rugs professionally cleaned when we checked out. We made the best of our stay, the location is great but for the amount of money I paid I would expect clean rugs. Donna did say she would refund me the cleaning fee, which almost two weeks later I have not received. I was told by customer service through vacassa Donna no longer works there and the current property manager would contact me. This has been going on a couple days now and no one has contacted me. It is a shame because we stayed in this exact cottage prior to COVID and delay directly with the owners and now with run through VRBO there is a lot lacking.

Found this for a last-minute getaway for 8 of us and we were pleasantly surprised. House was very clean and inside was charming. We loved the big fridge, access to washer / dryer and cable tv. There were 2 full bathrooms which was very helpful. Downstairs bed was very comfortable. Very close to the beach and very quiet! It was nice to walk out to the beach in the morning. We didn’t use outdoor area…less charming but practical. I liked that it was on the quieter end of the beach. It had a well equipped kitchen and there were beach chairs, games and puzzles. Thank you for a great stay.

The property was not clean when we arrived. A half full vitamin water and a pop tart wrapper were in a bedroom. There were stains on the comforters and a pillow case. In the upstairs bedrooms i had to duck and i am only 6 feet tall. So much more to say, but space is limited to write. I would never sty here again we even checked out early

On arrival property very clean. Amenities as advertised. Excellent location. Comfortable beds and couches. Overall we had a great time. Couple of small issues; Roku on tv difficult to use due to unfamiliarity with program, and could not get any regular network tv. Wood on floor between living room and dining area is broken , in two pieces and not secured to the floor any more. And clearly a trip hazard.

This was a perfect location for a small yoga retreat. The house was perfect, and the living room was the perfect size to set up our yoga classes. It was wonderful to be within walking distance of the ocean and we wouldn’t love to stay at this house again!

Centrally located for our sister’s shopping weekend, plenty of room for 5 of us. House was clean with the exception of the area rugs - they could stand a deep cleaning. Would stay here again

Very comfortable accommodations. Clean and convenient to beach and highways. We had a great time

Only issue is parking. Home sleeps 8 but there are only 2 parking spots.

Very convient so we could walk the beach twice a day (or more), cozy cottage for our sibling reunion. We are all in our 80’s and have not had vacation together in 10 years. We would book again thru VRBO as it was just as described.

We enjoyed our stay at this property…very convenient to a family wedding venue at Scotland Fields, and just a walk across the street to the beach.

Great location, a short walk to the beach. Kitchen is great, fully stocked which was a pleasant surprise. Absolutely will book again!

Overall was a great place.

This property has a great location. Walking distance to the beach. Besides that it was in okay condition and had adequate amenities (TV, Kitchen, etc). The ceilings upstairs are a little short so if you are 6ft or above that is definitely a consideration to keep in mind. Downstairs though had plenty of room, good furniture and there were window AC units in every room that were very helpful.

This house was close to the beach and big enough for 6 people-3 generations.
