Stayed Aug 24, 2024We had a great time at James place! It was very clean and exactly as described. Very close pleasant walk down a sandy path to the beach. Neighborhood was so nice. It’s been the favorite place we’ve stayed on the cape! Would definitely come back.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024We love the Curlew Cottage. Every year, it's clean, cozy, and comfortable for our vacation. The location is perfect, walking and riding bikes distance to the private beach and First Encounter and Bee's River. It's a 10-15 min drive to the ocean beaches. It's also close to many other perfect attractions. We feel at home here now. The hosts are available for any issues that come up and genuinely care for you to have a comfortable, enjoyable vacation!

Stayed Jul 22, 2023We love the Curlew cottage. It is a short walk to a private beach on the bay side. Another longer walk or short bike ride to First Encounter beach. It's quiet and safe area for kids to bike around. The water is warm and the tide goes out for a while so kids can swim without the drop in depth. The ocean is a 10 min drive or beautiful bike ride on the national seashore pathway. We love it here!

The cottage was well appointed and comfortable for the space and convenient to get to the Bay in minutes to enjoy at any point in the day. Love being around that water!!

Stayed Jul 25, 2020Perfect getaway-This cottage was immaculate and just perfect for our small group. We did takeout every night and ate dinner on the deck while listening to the water on the cape.We spent our days at the national seashore is just a short drive away.
