Charming Cottage in Private Lake Community (Pet-Friendly!)

Very clean, very well equipped, super close to all the activities we had planed for our short stay. We do have pets although we did not bring our dog but if we had WOW it would have been perfect. The owners thought of anything anyone traveling with or without pets would have needed. Plenty of space indoors and out. Also we usually pack a few extras like trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap etc when staying at a rental home. You never really know how well a home is stocked. We did not need any of that. They left more than enough supplies. Actual quality supplies like thick paper towels, soft toilet paper, good trash bags, good cleaning supplies. Comfortable furniture and beds, nice bath towels and linens. Beautiful and historic area of upstate New York. Hopefully next time we will have more time to explore.

We had a wonderful stay at The Bunny Cottage! We stayed about 9 days while our apartment was being renovated & we couldn’t have been more comfortable. The house itself is very nicely decorated, sunlight streams throughout & it was immaculate. Gabrielle & Lisa seem to have anticipated anything their guests might require & that alone made settling in easy. Checking in & communications with the hosts was also easy & added to our enjoyment of our time there. We know the community the house is located in having stayed there several times in the past. There are many wooded areas we passed as we walked our dog and he especially appreciated the deer & rabbits that passed by our windows & on the streets. And even though the house is located within the Sleepy Hollow Lake community, the neighboring towns (Athens, Catskill, etc) for shopping, dining, hiking, etc are close by. We can’t wait to go back!

Our hosts were super-welcoming and helpful, checking in just the right amount. Everything was easy to find and the home had all the things to make our stay cozy and comfortable. The area is lovely, and the town had some very nice dining options. Close to Hudson as well, so plenty to do, even in the colder time of the year. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving 2025. Cozy and quiet, about 25 rural minutes outside of Catskill/Hudson made for easy day trips.

Spent most of our time in Hudson for a family wedding, but great to come back to comfy accommodations. Very pet friendly too! Our dog enjoyed her walks in a new neighborhood.Great house for family getaways

Contacted the property several times about the tub not draining properly. It was never fixed while I was there.

White Bunny Cottage is a clean and lovely place to stay! The house is well equipped and the fire pit area in the backyard is a great gathering spot to relax with family.

The hosts were so nice and welcoming! The house was beautiful and well stocked. The area is so adorable and extremely welcoming and homey. Definitely recommend to stay in the white bunny cottage and enjoy the surrounding area! The hosts were so attentive and answered any and all questions we had almost immediately. We will for sure be back!

So comfortable and well-kept and cute! We wanted for nothing. We all enjoyed a magical night around the fire pit, with all the stars and fireflies out. It doesn’t get much better than this. We’d definitely love to come back sometime.

Our family (7 adults and 2 dogs) stayed over the Christmas holiday. The house was just perfect for our group. It was clean, comfortable and cozy! The hosts were responsive and super nice to deal with. We would definitely go back for any future stays in the area.

I went to the bunny cottage with my daughter and my mom and our dog. We spent a weekend in December and had a great time. We really enjoyed the house, which is well-appointed and very comfortable for hanging out and relaxing. We went to Hudson for lunch and some shopping, and had dinner at Stewart Inn in Athens! We enjoyed the gas fireplace, which made the living room cozy for watching a Christmas movie all together. The hosts are very responsive and kind. This was a great stay! We'd love to come back during the nice weather.

The White Bunny Cottage is a charming place. It is beautifully decorated and spotless! We enjoyed making dinner and using the tableware and baskets. Perfect for entertaining family. The country setting was perfect. Very quiet. Grocery and wine shop near by. Easy access to points of interest along the Hudson River. I would highly recommend the White Bunny Cottsge.
