Charming Cottage

We enjoyed out stay at the Charming Cottage while attending a wedding. The cottage was clean and as described. We truly appreciated the coffee maker and the provided coffee that we enjoyed on the beautiful sunny porch. It is a great place to experience Door County summer life. Thank you!

Cozy and well appointed cabin with amazing landscaping is the perfect place for a private getaway. Convenient short drive to Bailey’s Harbor.

The cabin was a nice cozy spot to stay in Door County.

The cottage and gardens were charming. The location was great and made it easy to get anywhere in just a short time. My one suggestion would be a comfy reading chair with good lighting. We had a couple rainy days and I would have loved to curl up with a good book and just stayed in on those days.

This is one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in! The host communicated very well, the property was just beautiful and very clean. Shopping and restaurants are just a 10 minute drive away from the property. If you’re looking for a couples get away, this is the place! Don’t pass up on this cabin if you have a chance to book it! You won’t regret it!

Our stay at Carols cottage was absolutely amazing. The cottage was adorable and exactly as pictured. We ended up getting hit by a pretty bad storm with downed trees around the area and loss of power. Carol and her husband showed up immediately with comforting words and supplies! We are so happy we found this little gem in Baileys Harbor. Can’t wait for our next stay!!

The property was beautiful and in a great location!

This was truly the most perfect cottage stay in Door County. I visited for a weekend with my sisters, and we were blown away by how amazing the place was. It was somehow even more beautiful than we had imagined. The property is filled with flowers and beautiful bird sounds and trees, while being close to so many restaurants, beaches, and shops in Door County. The place was super clean, had such incredible charm and character, and the check in and check out process was super easy. I couldn't recommend more.

We loved Door County and we loved having this as our home base! The property was extremely clean and well cared for. I loved being able to get up early in the morning, get coffee made, and go read in the dining room. The bedroom was quite comfortable, especially with the fan going! A top notch property!

This cottage was the perfect home base for our trip to Door County. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated with everything we needed. We loved that it is nestled in the woods with beautiful landscaping. A perfect place to return to after visiting the busier areas of Door County yet it was close enough to places we wanted to visit. Loved enjoying morning coffee outside listening to the sounds of nature and watching the hummingbirds. I highly recommend!

Everything about this property was as advertised! Working with Carol was excellent and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to spend some time in Door County!! The location of the property is excellent in the peninsula. You can get anywhere in 15 to 20 minutes!

Amazing location

A wedding Invite to Door County led me to search for a property for a 2 night stay near Baileys Harbor. The cottage listed did lot disappoint! Lovely attention to details! The interior and exterior were extremely clean and well maintained! So much love could be felt for the time the host spends on the landscaping. Very serene on a wooded lot. My bestie and I enjoyed the many different outdoor seating conversation spots. Views of lovely perennial gardens, gorgeous potted bigonia and the hardiest ivy I’ve ever seen! There was a constant attraction of dragonflies and humming birds! The property was coincidentally incredibly close to our wedding venue at Gordon Lodge. Carol was kind enough to answer a Saturday morning text inquiry regarding walking trails close by! She steered us toward the boardwalk ridge and swale complex that was both peaceful and interesting and allowed for some good exercise. The cottage has a lovely bedroom with a comfortable bed with a well appointed bathroom attached. The other “bedroom” is a nice porch size room with the dining table and a single pull-out loveseat bed which is comfortable for one person for a short stay. We loved the Door County Coffee selection and unexpected snacks with cherry 🍒 ingredients that Door County is known for. I would consider this lovely cottage again for a couple or girlfriend stay!

The most quiet, peaceful setting - surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and wonderful areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Easy access to great bike rides and places to sit near the water.
